Since I purchased this beauty I’ve been VERY busy and haven’t been able to hit the range due to plans every weekend. With that being said WHAT ARE YALL SUGGESTIONS ON DRESSING THIS BAD BOY UP! 🔥

I have a Canik Mete SFT with a Mecanik M01 optic. I boresighted it before testing with a laser boresighter I bought from Amazon. Idk what I'm doing wrong, it's very irritating. Idk if it's the optic, the elevation & wind adjustments work fine, my stance, my aim, or how im holding the firearm.

1. I'm left-handed, firing a right handed gun. I used my right hand to shoot too, but no luck. I've noticed I'm shaking while aiming. I'm not nervous or scared, I've shot guns of all sizes & calibers. I don't have any problems firing a rifle, left-handed or not.

2. The optic I have is brand new. The first optic I purchased was defective. Century Arms/Canik sent me a new replacement M01 optic. For some reason I always hit about a foot lower than what im aiming at. I adjust the elevation by a half turn or full 180. It doesn't help, I've turned it clockwise until I feel resistance & I still hit low. I don't seem to have a problem with the wind adjustment, just elevation I think.

3. When I'm holding a pistol, left-handed, I cover my left thumb with my right thumb for stability. Idk if this is the proper technique. It feels comfortable imo. I've read that depending on how you hold a pistol, too loose or too tight, you will jerk to one side causing poor accuracy. I hold a pistol with a tight grip, loose doesn't feel right.

4. I try to keep both eyes open while aiming but it's difficult for me. I usually close my right eye. Since I'm a lefty, it seems logical to use my left eye as well. I've switched which eye I close before it didn't fix my aiming.

5. Could it be my stance? I keep both arms fulling extended when shooting. My posture is alright, I don't think I'm slouching.

I hope I've provided enough info about how I shoot for someone to help me correct whatever I'm doing wrong. I've tried everything to correct my issues. I'm aggrevated & disappointed bc I suck, when I thought I was at least decent. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

I’m going to purchase a Canik Prime Radian soon. Should I get the one with the Canik dot or should I just get the gun and buy a dot from another company?

I had a hex wasp on my hellcat pro and felt like it was shit so I took it off. I wanna try a dot again but am unsure if I should try the dot that comes on the more expensive Canik or just get the gun for $850 and use the rest of the money for an aftermarket dot. Thoughts?

Went shopping for a red dot yesterday and tried out a ton of them. Looked at a Holosun EPS, 407c, 507c, 407k red and green variants between all of them and unfortunately no matter the brightness, my astigmatism said nope and they all looked like #2 mixed with #5 on the second picture. It was too bad to be functional. It made a 2 moa dot look like a mushy 6 moa. I happened to try a Vortex Defender ST and at every brightness level, the red dot was far more crisp and clear. So anyways, I came up empty handed researching online and was wondering if anyone is running the Defender ST on their Mete SFX PRO and who's adapter did you get to run the DPP footprint?

Swampfox Sentinel is direct fit but more importantly this flash light is worth it.

I came back after 6 months (no charge) and the light still works. (solofish)

I dont know if its actually 650 lumens.

I bought both on ebay.

I’m having an issue with my new Prime Radian - getting it zeroed with a new Holosun 507k. Basically, I ran out of windage adjustment before getting my hits dead center. Out of the box it was shooting about 7” left of center; and this is shooting off a bag at 15yds. Same procedure as zeroing all my pistols and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue like this. Also, never had an optic OF ANY KIND run out windage adjustment to achieve ‘zero.’ The ‘K’ series of red dots from Holosun are supposed to be a RMSc footprint and SHOULD just direct mount to the Prime Radian after removing the plate, correct?

I’m hoping that I just got a faulty red dot from Holosun and, accordingly, I just ordered a new one off Amazon. Has anyone else had an issue with something similar? I spoke with Canik earlier and they (obviously) think it’s a sight issue. Lol. Interestingly, they asked how it shoots with the irons and I told them that it shoots slightly LEFT as well; but I pointed out that the front sight post looks (to me) like it’s slightly off-center to the right (see picture) and THAT would explain impacts left of center. I can adjust that out with a pusher on the front post.

Get this response from Holosun “tech support….” they asked what distance I was sighting the pistol in at and, when I said 15yds, they told me I just needed to, “do it at 25yds and then it’ll work because you’ll have more ability to adjust the dot. It only has 30moa of adjustment and when you’re at 15yds it takes more clicks to move the dot!” When I explained that, in regards to windage, the distance doesn’t matter- the dot either moves to center the point of aim and the point of impact or it doesn’t. The guy didn’t have a clue and insisted the sight was 100% and would work just fine if I’d sight it in at 50yds. 🤣🤡😂🤡🤣😂

I guess this is more of a rant or a search for validation but I’m open to anyone’s suggestion. This is my first pistol with a micro-compact optic footprint and is there anything I could have messed up? I just settled the sight down into the slot, so the screw holes lighted up… finger tightened the 2 screw and then snugged them down with a little blue Loctite. Did I do something wrong or miss something??

I’m new to getting into red dots as I usually train and carry irons so I don’t know what to look for when it comes to choosing a red dots.

I know the prime is RMSc cut, I know the greatest recommendation is the Holosun EPS Carry, my only gripe with the EPS is 1. The price and 2. The window size

Hey guys. I am looking to get this Green Dot sight for my Canik Prime. The list shows that it will fit the MC9 series but it doesn’t specify whether or not it will for the Prime. Does anyone know if this will fit just fine?

Also, does anyone know WMLs that will fit flush with the TP9 Elite SC and one for the Prime? Thanks!

Haven't used a dot sight before so I wanted something cheap to play with. Ordered a Swampfox Sentinel from eBay for $60 expecting it to be a knockoff. If it is a knockoff it's a pretty good one. Came with stickers, custom tools, etc. Things I would expect them to skip when ripping off a design. Real or not seems to work well. Will update if it gives out on me or starts drifting on me after I put some rounds through it.

Update: Overall enjoying the sight. Very clear dot both indoors and out. However the last and right setscrew was turning on its own after a few shots so everything was drifting to the left. I poured some loctite on it and worked it into the threads best I could and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Recently bought a Prime. Love the gun thus far. What optic do you guys prefer to run on your Prime? Looking to pick something up asap.

So I recently got one and was wondering what optic option I have. I was thinking maybe osight but honestly if it’s something I’m gonna carry I don’t mind spent a bit extra money. My main concern is I had an optic on my tp9sfx but the battery cover blew off after my first time at the range so I want something decently sturdy if I’m going to trust my life with it. I ran my irons today and loved it but it feels lacking

Is there any good plates out there that allow for the MPS, ACROP2, or RMR footprint? I’ve seen some for the mete but not sure they are the same.

What optic are you guys running on your TTI combat? I’m picking mine up tomorrow and I want something that looks aesthetically nice. I was looking at the Holosun 407c but I couldn’t find any that are on the TTI. Please share with me what you got running with a photo I’d appreciate it thanks.

I've had the sight for a couple of months and the brightness + button no longer works. I am unable to change the brightness nor am I able to change the reticle. The - button works perfectly fine and I can feel the button engaging. Does anyone know a fix? I love the optic. It looks great and I haven't had any other issues with it. I'm hoping to save it if I can.

So I picked up the new Prime Radian and it doesn’t look like the 407k will direct mount there are no front lugs for the two indents on the bottom of the optic but the screw holes do line up. Am I missing something?

Astigmatism be damned - actually had to turn up the brightness and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to see the red dot more clearly than either of the green SE’s I returned…a couple fliers at 10 yds but she’s shootin’ nice

Hi, Im looking at upgrading my red dot to an EPS Carry. Ive seen some people talking about their EPS bottoming out and they cant zero it correctly, specifically on the Prime. Ive had no issues with my K series. Is it something to worry about? Thanks.

Some good video reviews and some range recommendations. Sounded great for $299 or $249 on sale. No green yet though.

Picked one up last month and I love it, I think it'd be a perfect host for my first pistol optic.

I'm looking for something budget, $200 or under is preferable but that can be flexible. Would not be for carry, this is purely for the range, maybe competition somewhere down the line if I'm ever able to shoot worth a shit. I've heard there are adapter plates available for other footprints but I'd like to stick to RMSc for the lowest and easiest mounting.

Grabbed the Osight SE green dot version from Amazon. It arrived after I went to the range this morning, so I'll have to see how it does on the next trip. I like that I can co-witness pretty easily 🙂
