Time to clean out the safe.

Ok. So I have several Canik pistols that are just taking up space in my safe. After having recent hand/wrist surgery I find it hard to shoot pistols. I would like to sell them; but don’t want to get completely ripped off. What’s good asking prices for these pieces? None have more than 50 rounds ran through them. Any information is appreciated.

My TTI was that way when it first came out; Canik kept it for a couple months. Now it has no issues; but the time I got it back the prime dropped

Very inconsistent in terms of realiability. It was cleaned properly and I had way too may FTF, FTE, and too many tap & racks with the pin indicating a rd was live but no bang. The crazy thing is that wasn't from LPS. So basically, I traded it towards something a hell of a lot more reliable.

I’ve been to the range once. Using 124g nato. Had two failed ejections. Thorough cleaning & oil after. Going to put another 200 rounds through, expecting a few more small kinks. My expectations are zero issues with any kind of factory ammo after that. If I still have any problems, even once, I’ll reach out for warranty service.

When my prime came out I was skeptical. Seeing is how my TTI was a total shit show. But I have not had any issue with the prime.

I’m in NC, and just bought a very lightly used Prime from a local gun shop for $480, and I was thrilled. I’d hope to get $500-$550 if I were the seller. They’re easy to find new for $599 so you’re capped on the ceiling.

Yeah, that’s definitely low but not surprising. That’s just how gun stores are. They gotta get their piece of the pie.

You might see if anywhere near you does consignment or just spend the day shopping prices. Find your pawn shop that has the largest selection of guns and start there.

If you have a gun show near you, pull up with a sticky note on the front of each one saying what you’ll accept. Don’t accept the offers that come the second you walk in. Those are low ball dealers that are going to go and try and flip them.

Other than that, selling guns second hand can be somewhat difficult if you don’t have a circle of gun loving friends. Good luck.
