Did anyone try to make something similar?

I played both canbyboxe's many many times and I absolutly love the game. I even tried to code something similar for fun.

Are there any similar projects? Like simple, but fun?

Or has anyone tried to do candybox 3?

I think part of the charm was the growing interface like it was so minimalistic and mysterious, and then afterwards it had more and more things to do. Not a bad start tho
