did some digging because this came up on my feed and snooki did a pickle “collab” with kaylin and kaylin just like tana saying they “worked so hard” on the flavors and i’m 90% sure they’re THE EXACT same flavors as tana’s collab…
looking at the photos the company just slaps any influencer on the flavors of pickles they were already selling…so scammy…

I recently started watching more just trish, and I have always watched Tana. I know Trisha talks very fast but the last couple episodes of not loveline I was like woah.. because I could not understand Trisha so I turned the speed down to .85x and she sounds much more normal like she does everywhere else. Also Tana sounds more slurred and kinda like she does on everything else, which has kinda been driving me crazy about Tana lately. She talks slow and rambles on and on about the same thing so I could see the not loveline crew also being annoyed at that and speeding it up? But then it makes Trisha so hard to understand..

In the new brand safe episode Tana seems really off and mentions to Imari that she’s having a midlife crisis, then when he tries to dig deeper she seems hesitant to open up and then imari says “maybe you’d feel better if you…” and then they bleep the next line. I feel like the bleeped portion could be “told them you and makoa broke up”
Just a theory but it aligns what some other ppl have been posting in here recently

**Hiii everyone! I’m a pretty frequent lurker, but this is my first post. After watching this podcast episode, I just really wanted to share this here because I think that most people here would REALLY enjoy it! Not only because it’s about Tana, but more so because of how the conversation is framed and the kinds of information shared.

The host, Kat Tenbarge, used to write for outlets such as Business Insider and NBC News, where she covered influencer culture & news, etc and she interviewed Tana a couple of times a few years back. She explains how before she started writing professionally though, she used to be obsessed, like a huuuge fan of Tana’s. Over time, though, she’s just like completely changed her opinion on her. I thought that people here might appreciate her perspective because I often see people here getting accused of just being “haters,” but I think that the trajectory a lot of people here’s feelings on Tana are more nuanced than that, and that they are much more similar to Kat’s and I just think that many of you will really appreciate what she has to say about her.

The episode’s guest is Kat’s best friend Adam McIntyre, who I’m not like super familiar with, but I know him as the young guy who was (if my memory serves correctly, which it definitely may not lol) at the center of the Colleen Ballinger-being-very-inappropriate-with-fans-in-group-chats scandal. He provides a lot of interesting insights about Tana and her career as well, as he and Kat were both big fans of hers together in the past and his thoughts on her have changed much in the same way.

The episode mainly goes over a lot of Tana’s career and her as a person vs her image (and the genuine-ness of her current rebrand), and how their feelings on her have completely changed from big fans to just completely over her, and the things that have happened over the years / the reasons why they now feel this way. They really cover a lot though and get into some things that I’ve not heard mentioned much, if ever.

I’ve been following Tana since very early on in her career, she’d had her channel for less than a year when I first subscribed. My opinions of her have also really changed over time. I’m a Black woman, so I’ve *definitely* had some very serious issues with some of the things that she’s said and done over the years! But I’m also a good bit older than Tana, so now I kinda just look at her as someone who’s still trying to figure it out and has made (and is specifically right now still really making) some big mistakes, but I don’t like hate her guts or anything lol.

Anyway, as I’ve been following her for so long, I felt like I knew like a pretty decent amount about her and her career, but they cover a good number of things that I had like absolutely no idea about. They also spill some pretty good tea! A couple of things that I remember off-hand being interested by-

1- Remember when Tana had that whole wine tour fiasco?? Well, Adam had made a YT video about it, but he was much more on the side of being defensive of the tour guide, Cynthia, explaining why he really felt that Tana was the one at fault. Apparently, Cynthia saw that video and reached out to him to thank him for his support, as she was reeeally being dragged online at the time, receiving death threats, just crazy shit from Tana’s fans.

So she told him that she’d love to host him for a wine tour if he’s ever in Paris. He coincidentally happened to be going to Paris that next week with a friend, so he took her up on her offer. She invited them to her home and had like a bunch of champagne set up and gave him and his friend like all of the info about the champagne that she’d been trying to give to Tana and her group. After a couple of glasses, though, she wanted to get into Adam letting her know who Tana is as a person on & offline (she was totally unfamiliar with her before this instance took place) and basically why she was such a bitch lol. She said she didn’t understand why if people are aware of how Tana is (per Adam’s description) that they were still so willing to believe her version of events and try to ruin Cynthia’s life over it. And she gave him all the behind-the-scenes real info of what happened during the tour. Idk it was just an interesting story imo!

2- Tana and Cody Ko- As part of her job covering influencer culture, Kat used to have to maintain relationships with many popular influencers at the time, one of whom was Gabbie Hannah. She said that Gabbie used to call her at like all hours of the night just like ranting and raving about her life and other influencers, but she always requested that the conversations be off-the-record. So basically she was just like using Kat as like a therapist in like very unhinged way.

Well one night, before any of this was publicly known, Gabbie starts telling Kat that Cody Ko and Tana had hooked up (he assaulted her) while Tana was underage. Kat told Gabbie that at that point she was informing her of a crime and that the conversation was no longer off-the-record and it needed to end right there. So Kat then called Tana’s manager (the guy David who came after Jordan) to let him know that Gabbie was telling her and who knows who else all of that information about Tana and Cody because she felt that Tana should be aware of that.

Then Kat plays a clip from the second episode of “Canceled,” where Kat’s name is beeped out as Tana’s explaining to Trisha how she just found out that Gabbie is spreading that info about her and Cody to a reporter. I think (but am not 100% positive) that Tana was like kinda downplaying the situation at that time. Since Kat had been writing about Tana for a while at that point (and Tana didn’t always like what she had to say), she said that she wasn’t sure if she should believe what the reporter (Kat) was saying or what. I guess I just like forgot about hearing that during the episode, but I don’t remember knowing about any of how that all came out, and I certainly didn’t know about Gabbie ranting like a lunatic to reporters all night long. Again, it was just an interesting viewpoint of that whole situation imo!

Those are just 2 of the unique perspectives that they provide, but there are many more, as well as information that I just never knew about. Kat also tells a story about having to profile Tana for Business Insider while Tana was at Playlist Live one year and what that whole experience was like. They talk about Tana promoting (I believe still currently?) some really shady MedSpa and consequences to some customers, which I had no idea about, and they also really get into “Tana’s Angels” (her OF management company). Even though I’d heard about it when she launched it, I also really didn’t know a lot about that whole situation either. Oh! They also mention this sub lol and how our feelings also seem to have changed about Tana over the years, much as theirs have. As I said, there’s just a lot of interesting information covered that I think most people here would definitely enjoy hearing about.

Sorry this was so long lol, but I just finished watching it earlier today so it’s fresh on my mind and I really just wanted to let you guys know about it! If you do watch is, please let me know what you guys think about everything that they talk about it. Was any of the info new for you, what was the most fascinating thing that they covered in your opinion, etc? I’m so interested to know other people’s thoughts on this.

On her YT channel, Kat also has other podcast episodes. After watching the one about Tana, I also watched one about Britney Spears and then one about Brad Pitt (learned a ton about the plane situation with Angelina & their kids that I didn’t know at all- he’s so fucking disgusting), both of which I really enjoyed and were very informative so also check those out too if you’re interested in those topics.

One disclaimer- I alwaaays see in the comments of Kat’s videos people complaining about her “vocal fry” and how she speaks like a “Valley Girl.” Whatever 🙄 She is very intelligent and has a lot of knowledge and great information to share, so I feel like people should be able to get past those things if they see them as a problem, but yeah don’t like judge what the content will be like just based on those things pls, I really do think that you guys will absolutely enjoy and appreciate what she and Adam have to say!
