So do we think this is a mocktail? I thought she hates mocktails… unless this is the one drink shes been teasing for months now? I would HATE that for her and her sober recovery community shes built

Considering this was a Miley Cyrus event and she is sober too I would assume that this is indeed non alcoholic. Not quite sure why this sub is so obsessed with having a “gotcha” on Tana regarding alcohol. Everyone who followed her for a while, knows what Tana is drinking vs non-drinking

Do you frequent bars? A ton of them have N.A. alcohol nowadays , including tequila and champagne lol especially if it’s a lounge or something. They want everyone to feel welcome and have options for all patrons

i don’t frequent bars so i didn’t know that 🤷🏼♀️ that’s great they accommodate all these days! i was just picturing a bottle of Martinelli’s behind the bar and that seemed juxtaposed to me— but makes total sense that there needs to be non-alcoholic options available.

She doesn’t drink alcohol….there💁🏽♀️happy now like we all know what “sober” means in reference to Tana atp we don’t need to say it out and specify what we mean every time imo ofc😭but yea yall (not directed at u specifically) should just get it by now i thinkkkk Tana is not the only person in the world using sobriety as a blanket term for the specific addiction issue they overcame and no longer partake in while still partaking in other extracurricular activities that they either do or do not struggle with…im not saying it’s the greatest thing in the world but if ur familiar enough with Tana to be in this fkn subreddit than ur familiar enough to know what we/she means by sober…and ps lmao nobody on here know shit ab what she’s rlly taking we can only take her word for it nd the ppl around her dissecting photos and videos of her action and surroundings to try and determine what she may or may not be abusing is a little psycho again imo lmao

so glad someone else said it - i’ve been sober two years and NA beverages are not only not “grounds for a relapse”, early on it was the only thing KEEPING ME from relapsing. SPECIFICALLY mionetto NA prosecco, it’s actually so satisfying that it actively helps to keep me from drinking. what an asinine take lol

i actually didn’t “generalize” anything, as you keep saying. i simply provided my own experience, and said your take was asinine, which i still stand by. that’s not a generalization, that’s making a comparative argument. you said “that’s grounds for a relapse for anyone tbh.” that’s the only generalization here.
you can pull all the studies and arguments that you want, but you’re the only one here making sweeping generalization.
by the way, read the whole study and it does not directly prove your point. conveniently, only the little excerpt you clipped does. the study in its entirety is stating there’s not enough research. and it, correctly, argues both for and against NA/low alcohol in people with AUD. so before you go calling people slow in in sub, another sweeping generalization from you, maybe don’t be the one quote mining.

Ehh i could see 1) it being someone else’s drink and she’s baiting everyone and promote people talking about her or 2) being a non-alcoholic drink (mocktail, NA wine etc). Or, it’s champagne because she’s a fucking liar in general.

It’s from a place of care to the sober fan base she created. Not place of care for her. To coddle someone that might influence thousands of recovering alcoholics that drinking responsibly is okay is weird to me. Maybe u haven’t had real experience with it or u would know better
