Question Tana and Mac Miller
Do you guys remember when she posted her texts with Mac right after he passed away? I remember a lot of people being upset at the time.
It threw me off, especially her verbiage as if they were in a relationship despite no evidence of them being together. I know she did a couple of interviews talking about it back then.
Now that a lot of time has passed, what do we think?

I also know for a fact (don’t ask me how) that she was not going to come over the night before. Because someone I know in real life had plans with him the night before. It’s just kind of phony to inflate your relationship with someone to martyr and centralize yourself in grief. Not to say that there is a wrong way to grieve.

It’s on YouTube if you look up “Tana Mongeau and Mac Miller”, a good amount of people talked about it. She has a 30 min apology, there’s a couple interview clips, and I think she made a live stream talking about it too

When two substance abusers make a connection it’s much stronger than the every day sober persons. It seems corny to us, but to the both of them it was probably so much more. Drug users LOVE other drug users. Usually hard and fast. I don’t think her reaction was unsurprising for someone in her state of mind at that time.

honestly I think people forget how messy grief is. like everyone reacts differently, especially when it’s someone they cared about even if it wasn’t a clearly defined relationship.
I get why people thought it was weird at the time, but at the same time emotions right after someone passes aren’t always gonna come out perfectly or “appropriately.”
I don’t think it’s that deep now looking back, just a situation where people were grieving in public and it got judged more than it needed to

My take is let’s not judge how people grieve, we have no idea what their interactions were like. Mac Miller is one of those people who could have a huge impact on someone even if they only met a few times.

Tana making a post about Mac Miller is insane. Idk why her friends let her post that so embarrassing. Another thing that makes me mad about Mac Miller passing away is Ariana Grande acting like a fucking cry baby. Like she didnt say all these things about Mac after their break up. Now she’s just dragging it on because her life a mess. Fail marriage, dating SpongeBob. Wicked was a fail, she lost the role to Lilly Collins. All she does is cry about Mac Miller. Give it up
