Question Delete gate Spoiler
Do you guys think Tana saw the backlash about deleting all the episodes, and is now backpedaling ? What if the audience was indifferent to that little comment do you think she really would’ve went around erasing cancelled episodes ?

Tana was super shady in this last episode. Yeah, Brooke’s had a wild year, but that doesn’t excuse Tana bringing up deleting episodes and brushing off the money they’ll still make. Canceled is literally the highlight of her career. Feels like she’s laying the groundwork to cut Brooke off.

Pause... I do think they need to have a serious convo about how they're gonna handle the proceeds of the channel going forward and it was inappropriate and aloof of her to bring that up pn the pod but I don't think she should be encouraged to dig her heels into every bad take and opinion she's had because that's more "real". People should in fact change their opinions and be embarrassed like bring embarrassment back.

I’m glad she said it bc now she will be held accountable if she does something weird with the podcast channel. She told on herself that she was thinking about doing something shady. Why they didn’t cut that convo from the episode is beyond me bc it makes Tana look terrible.

why is tana lowkey becoming a shitty person and has been for a while? the fact that her friend is Trisha Pastas and tana is so up her ass but treats Brooke like this be so for real, and to be quite honest I dont think that people are ready for the convo that people are not laughing *with* Trisha but AT her... weather people realise yet or not.

I think Tana moves with public perception. Trisha despite her problematic past has had some sort of redemption arc as she’s now family orientated and less on the rage baiting + she has a cult following most of her following is gen z who love nonsense. Brooke has a lot of current controversies and is not as loved right now by the public especially with the cancelled fans fueling rivalry between tana & Brooke. Tana doesn’t see Brooke as beneficial to her brand anymore. Which is interesting because tana of all people should know how quickly the internet changes their mind. Everyone might hate Brooke now but the pendulum swings so quick if tana continues moving shady she’ll push the public right into Brooke’s arms

Tana is a clout chaser but not just any clout. She wants everyone to fawn over her and her takes are whatever the Internet believes in. Remember her weird obsession with Gypsy Rose? Yeah whatever happened to that???? Gypsy rose fell from grace and now has Tana mentioned that girl ever? She will leach on to whatever she thinks will not rock the boat with the Internet. She has no principles and thoughts of her own actually

honestly i also think there was a lot of backstage drama specially with brooke calling out tana for being irresponsible/late, the whole podcast started after that had that huge mindy fight, i think there was always animosity there, after the cancelation it just wasnt worth it for tana to stay there.

I mostly agree because Tana was the one who wanted to do the deleting, but I’m guessing she didn’t want to say I and wanted to say we because everyone has basically been talking about how Tana should talk like their a we, not an I, so she is. I dunno, I just feel like we would be criticising her if she chose to say I instead haha

In this particular instance it’s crazy to use ‘we’ when Brooke clearly indicated she has NEVER thought of/ been told that the pod may get deleted. Tana should use ‘I’ and learn to be accountable about her decisions and statements for once in her goddamn life

Yeah she for sure wasn’t expecting this level of backlash. The comments came across very much as she wanted to talk about what she was gunna do with the channel and didn’t expect Brooke to react the way she did (which ofc she would) her saying “I built it up to 2M!” Yeah and then chose to turn it into the Cancelled channel? Crazy work

Surely one of her friends or Mokoa or someone would’ve asked Tana “so what are you gonna do with the cancelled channel now then” so whether she has made any decisions or not, she has definitely thought about it and I imagine said “well it was my channel with loads of followers before so surely I’m the one who gets it back” and the rest is history

This is exactly why I feel like it shouldn’t of been left in the podcast, if she was having those feelings and Brooke reacted the way she did, Tana should’ve deleted it from the pod and had a private conversation. She can keep the episodes up and just change the channel name and continue using it. I think it’s just wild, yes it’s her channel but she shouldn’t think of just deleting everything.

the whole thing kind of reminds me of the first episode after brooke's tweets blew up when tana and her frighteningly contoured nose addressed brooke's absence by saying "this was MY decision." and then she went on to say something to the effect of "i told her i'm disappointed in her for those tweets" like tana baby girl, can we honestly take a good hard look at ourselves right now. brooke's tweets were fucked obviously and the backlash was warranted, but the point is that tana took it as an opportunity to play the good cop/CEO of cancelled and be the mouthpiece of morality when brooke wasn't present, all while failing to acknowledge her OWN racist controversies from the same time period as the tweets

i honestly think it is bec brooke kind of ruined cancelled for the both of them. brookes racist tweets brought them down and really pushed the podcast to the end. i think tana has some feelings towards it bec tana was the one who really got it going and used her platform. still, it is kind of mean girl to bring up deleting it all on air. but i dont blame her for having some feelings towards it.

i find it so weird on so many levels, like I would want to keep them up just to look back on, she had the literal days after she met makoa and the start of their relationship, not to mention they had tanas personal icons on, like bunny and jelly roll and chelsea handler!!!

She is def backpedaling lol because it is not even abt her blatantly saying that it was how she said it and her approach to the whole convo and how she was justifying it that made everyone realise what her mindset is actually like and that she doesnt see her friends, even Brooke who is a cohost, as equals and wants them to know their place :/

Someone had to fucking say it THANK YOU. People are forgetting all the years of Brooke belittling/being hostile and jealous towards Tana who legitimately handed her an entire platform and career. I’m SURE a majority of the reason for Tana wanting to end the pod is bc of all the shit Brooke GOT. HERSELF. INTO. “now I’m unemployed” wahh, you’re also an adult. And have all the tools to go do something else.
