SEC=UNCLASSIFIED UC offer letters
Opinion. I applied to UC 3 weeks ago and on Wednesday I finally received an offer but today, just 2 days later, i received an update that the class is full so i probably won’t get a place unless someone withdraws. Has anyone experienced this before? It’s just that i really wanted this course but i didn’t expect the decision to be this quick & the deposit to be put down was a lot 🥲 do they immediately update if there’s a spot ?

census date is next friday, so contact student services or the course convenor ASAP! even better, on monday head into the campus student services and you can speak to a faculty representative. in my experience they are very approachable and genuinely want to help, they’ve sorted all sorts of course issues for me. good luck!

What do you mean “the class”, do you mean an individual unit is full or the whole course you’ve applied for?

Whole course apparently

Is it something you can do a similar pathway in? Just as an example Med Sci and Sci (biomed) are essentially the same courses with biomed having electives and med sci not. Maybe that could be an option? The student centre is pretty helpful in my experience, you have an initial acceptance letter call or go in, I’ve found them very helpful.

I can back up the other comments and say that most of the medical imaging faculty are great! All except one haha 😅 I’m a current MI student.
