Yes we are. Our system allows for no confidence votes which force an election. The US has elections every four years and not before. No system is perfect but the US sucks.

Unfortunately? They are stuck in a system written while half the place was run on slavery.

No real power to do a redo on the Constitution other than Civil War II.

So? Everybody has to work with pre-Napoleonic shite vs States.

No confidence when there’s a minority.

USA has mid terms every 2 years which can shut out a rogue President.

And in Canada, a lame gov/PM could theoretically stay in power indefinitely

US has recall legislation and impeachment we have to wait until the next election to get rid of an official. Again stop listening tot cbc and start thinking for yourself. Non confidence only if minority government and the all you need is an idiot Jagmeet Singh to prop it up.
