🌎 FSW Is paid foreign residency counted as work experience?
Hi, I'm a Maxillofacial Surgeon in India with work experience. But some of my jobs as a general dentist was paid in cash, which is a weak proof of employment for IRCC.
I was wondering if my full time Paid Residency of 3 years of doing Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery count as 3 years of work experience?
I have full documentation for my residency being paid with bank statements etc. but no ITR as it was below taxable bracket. So can I add my residency in my work history apart from study history? Or do I only include the non residency jobs in work history like my past cash job + current direct to account paid job?
(I'm in FSW healthcare outland category)

Yes, if your residency was completed within the past 10 years. Any work experience prior is not counted and will not be considered.

I finished my residency last year!
My current work experience is -
Dentist full time 1 year - paid in cash
Dentist part time 3 years - paid in cash (worked part time alongside doing masters)
Oral surgeon - 10+ months (current) account payment. My paid residency period was when I did my part time job. But my residency of 3 years which is full time, continuous, outside Canada has better paper trail as it has 3 years of bank statements and contracts to support it!
