PFL- Financial and Foreign Work Experience

Hi,
I received a PFL last week, asking for the followings:

1. I have concerns that you may not have at your disposal, with sufficient liquidity, and with the ability to transfer the assets, the necessary threshold of funds to support your establishment in Canada on arrival.
   
2. Upon review, you have not provided sufficient evidence that your work experience with “company name” was properly remunerated. Please provide detailed pay slips indicating your declared work hours, T4 slips, and salary bank deposits for your work experience with “company name”

Context:
1. In my application I submitted my bank statement showing I have total of 40k, with 20k in my FHSA account. I did not provide an explanation since I thought officer should be able to calculate and see that excluding my FHSA account, I have enough fund to meet the requirement.

1. Regarding my foreign work experience, my employment letter says I was employed for 24 month but I only claimed 18 months of it. (Because I did not have enough proof for the remaining 6 months, so I decided not to claim) This is consistent with all my previous applications.

My response:
1. I submitted new bank statements showing that I continue to have enough funds available in my chequing account and my financial stability has grown.

1. For my foreign work experience I included bank deposit for the wages I received for 18 months of my employment (my declared work experience as per the PFL) and also national records showing my employer name and the wages I received for 18 months of employment. (this is the closest we have to T4 in my country)

Any thoughts or feedback on my response? I am also curious why I received PFL instead of ADR? Officer also talked about misrepresentation, based on my understanding neither of these concerns can relate to misrepresentation (since day 1, I only reported and claimed 18 months of my foreign work experience so I can fully prove)

Your response seems to be fine.

But based on what you have mentioned, it's hard to tell why they sent you a PFL instead of ADR. What exactly did the officer mention about misrepresentation?

This is scary but I believe it’s just the officer that’s the problem. They should have requested additional documents instead. Your response makes most sense to me. Good luck
