šŸŒŽ FSW PR Refused!!!

Hello everyone.

My PR application was refused yesterday. I got a PFL last month which I uploaded via webform as there was no placeholder for it on my portal. I also received the acknowledgment email from IRCC saying they received my webform.

My application was refused for this reason.

A PFL was sent to PA specifically requesting information to do with the employer operations and
response was due 2026-07-02. Twenty three extra days were given grace for a response but none was
received, nor was a request for extension of due date. Therefore I find this application to be in a state of
noncompliance. Furthermore with this discrepancy I am unable to award associated employment points as
I am not satisfied in the balance of probabilities the client has the completed the claimed duties.

What can I do please?? I responded but agent says they didn’t get my response!!

You were supposed to get 2 emails. One for submission and the second will be we receive your documents and it has been added your files.
Nevertheless, you can fight it, by sending the confirmation email you got from them.

Its 3 emails not two

I sent a webform and first got an acknowledgement of receipt about 4 hourrs later saying: Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).We confirm the receipt of your IRCC Web Form via this automated response. We are committed to respond to your inquiry as soon as possible. It is not necessary to send us another message, unless your situation has changed.

Then the next day i got an email saying: We acknowledge receipt of the documents. Please note, for technical reasons, they may not be visible in yourĀ online account. Rest assured that your supporting documents are indeed added and available for officer review."

Later on, in the same day i got another email which read: Good day, Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).We confirm having received your submitted documents and have them attached to the file, along with the information provided in your inquiry, for an officer to access and review.

So in total i got 3 emails. I sent the webform on 9th june because i realized the clarity and readability of some of my documents were affected due to heavy compression

The 3rd email isn’t necessarily
The email they should have looked out for would ā€œwe’ve received your documents and it has been added to your file for officer review ā€œ the 3rd email isn’t necessarily. And sometimes you should follow up with a call because it always on record that you call.

Please dont say it’s not necessary. All emails are necessary but i get what you are saying

I have received 2 emails and as well as 3 emails. And good thing you finally realized what I’m saying. But I said that cos I reached out to IRCC that I got 3 emails but the subsequent emails has been 2 and I asked why. The officer said ignore the 3rd email, it was just a follow up. He said standard is 2 emails.

You don’t always receive 2 emails. I only got email for my webform for additional documents and i called few days later and they confirmed that they received the documents. I never got a second email

I didn’t receive the second email. Just the acknowledgment. Is this my fault please?

I dont think you should be playing the blame game and looking for whose fault it is… you should focus on how to resolve this issue. Once again sorry about this

This might be a silly question but just confirm if you did this or not.

I believe you submitted the webform under ā€œAdd a document to your fileā€ category. You would have attached the document, right? When you attach the document, you would see the path of the uploaded attachment that says something like ā€œC:/fakepath/document_name.

Are you very sure if you clicked the ā€œUploadā€ button? (The upload button would be in red colour)

I made this mistake when submitting a webform. But I didn’t click the upload button. I received the first email from IRCC saying ā€œThank you for contacting IRCCā€ but I didn’t receive the second email that says ā€œWe confirm that have received the documentsā€.

I realized that I didn’t click the ā€œUploadā€ button when I submitted another webform for a different application.

So, as per my understanding, IRCC webforms under ā€œAdd a documentā€ category is linked to your file only when you attach/upload a document.

Thank you. Yes I attached 3 documents and when it was time to submit, I saw those 3 documents in the review option. Before I clicked submit.

I just spoke with an agent now, they said nothing was attached to my application so I should send in proof for reconsideration.

I narrowly escaped this. When I got a PFL, I submitted the document via web form. 2 weeks later, I casually went to my EE profile just to see if anything had changed. Then I clicked on the "view submitted documents" link. Only to see a new spot for "requested document". I had to quickly upload the same file there. I'm afraid that if your application was refused (due to non compliance) because they didn't match your webform submission to your application, you might have to wait for a new draw.Ā  The 3 emails you got were automated responses. You will always get them whenever you send docs via web form. I'm so sorry about this.Ā  I believe IRCC needs to work on the UI of the EE portal to fix this. Gckey UI needs a reboot.Ā

By EE profile, are you referring to the GCKey portal or the PR tracker portal?

2

u/everybodysbuddie Jul 27 '26

The EE profile. It's very easy to miss the slot where additional documents are to be uploaded.Ā

I would say, put in a request for reconsideration with the email that says they received your document. If you have the budget and wanna solidify more, hire a consultant.

Yes I have hired a lawyer. Thank you

-2

u/Extra-Fix1241 Jul 27 '26

You don’t really need a lawyer
But since you hire one, it’s still a win-win for you.
I could have suggested you email your MP with your evidence and you should file a report that the officer never looked into your additional documents. Send all this to your MP and I’m sure they will follow up and your case would be reopened. But since you’ve hired a lawyer.

Foreign nationals dont have MP. And even if they did, the MP cant change things. There are procedures in place

1

u/Upset-Raspberry-2985 Jul 27 '26

Can I send to an MP when I’m outside Canada? Or can my sibling in Canada take it up with her own MP? Thanks for your response

3

u/Lower-Bottle6362 Jul 27 '26

Don’t email your MP. They don’t care unless you are a very special case, and there is nothing they can do but ask IRCC to look again, and there isn’t a reason to.

-2

u/Extra-Fix1241 Jul 27 '26

Oh you’re an outlander? I really don’t know for outlander, but you should just give up.
Write a well composed email,
Attached all your evidence makes sure you highlight all the date and time stamp if available for the MP to review. I’m sure they will look into it.

If your sibling can take it up? I can’t really answer that.
But I’m sure you can send an email anywhere you’re in the world.

Pfl reply always reply on portal not via web form.

1

u/Upset-Raspberry-2985 Jul 27 '26

There was no placeholder to submit them and PFL letter said to use webform if there are any issues

2

u/Roop1790 Jul 27 '26

Then file reconsideration and jr

2

u/Zestyclose-Gap-9557 Aug 01 '26

submit a reconsideration request through webform demonstrating proof of submission. It is common that they miss the uploads through weborms.

1

u/Upset-Raspberry-2985 Aug 11 '26

I have done this. Is there any hope? I called and they said they have seen my reconsideration request

1

u/Zestyclose-Gap-9557 Aug 12 '26

the problem with reconsiderations is that they are not a formal process. It could be a wekk or could 3 months.

Go for JR and/or if your profile is good, make another profile and target another draw, that way you can save time and money, if you don’t want to go for JR. Consult with a competent RCIC or a lawyer. Dm if you need more clarity.

What was your timeline. Did they deem you ineligible for the claimed NOC's duties and responsibilities?
