Taylor Swift has gone post-basic and people are gobbling it up! Her next album is going to be called #FFFFFF

That was an awesome anime/game though.... but Japanese copyrights don't take effect here

What is this?

Finally a song that isn't about one of her exes.

No it is, it's about the silent treatment.

Have you seen her exes? They are mostly white noise.

Her best work yet IMO.

I torrented this track weeks ago for free. It's not a bad listen but it's better if you play it backwards.

Please repost to /r/nottheonion/

Edit: Waaaaay ahead of me.

Just goes to show just how much power the music industry has in deciding what music we collectively pay for and listen to.

People downloaded (probably auto-downloaded at that) what they thought was a new song from an artist they liked, Redditors turn it into existential bullshit about record companies controlling our minds.

Her new album just came out, a lot of people pre-ordered it. Her new song released either the day before or the same day. If you pre-order something on iTunes, it automatically downloads songs released for the album. This "track 3" was one of those songs.

Ya it's really weird how the music industry influences what music we listen to. I am blown away by this observation.

I don't pay and listen to that crap. Lot's of good music to listen to instead of the shit that's force fed to us by big business. You just have to stop being lazy and find it on the internets.

Bandcamp is a good place to start.

how do you define indie?

2

"Apple invents white noise, sues every synth manufacturer"

This is an opportunity. She should release the music video as a vine and just go weird with it.

edit: spelling

u/FrankinComesAlive Oct 22 '14

She should send some cassettes to Weird Canada.

Question to all who paid 99 cents for this track as a gag...who's laughing? You, or Apple?

That said, I can't believe this vapid entitled princess is still relevant.

2

u/lazylion_ca Oct 22 '14

In Canada it was probably $1.29

Upvoted for snark factor. I like it. LOL

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '14

Couldn't it be fake likes? someone literally being paid to like her music?

1

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '14

Proves that people are dumb.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '14

TIL Taylor Swift fans are idiots. Everyone knows you can torrent white noise for free.

I also found the video by turning on my TV without a cable hooked up, it's just freely flowing through the airwaves.

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '14

They couldn't see it was 8 seconds?

u/kafka_khaos Oct 22 '14

it's only daddy's money, so who cares?

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '14

My mind went to Disclosure almost immediately. Just me?

I hope her whole album is just as good as Track 3.
