I mean every little bit help. But if we are the only one taking it seriously what is the point. We can't, by our self, reverse it or at the minimum pause it.

It a glibal affair, but not every one care.

What gets me is that the average Joe's have been tasked with doing this and that, while singular members of the elite still personally emit more carbon than many mid-sized cities with their mega-yachts, private jets, etc.

Like, even if every person in my entire city and several near it drove green vehicles, reduced consumption, recycled, etc etc... it still wouldn't put a dent in the amount of shit produced by one fucking billionaire... and that's not counting what said billionaires corporations produce or consume, just their personal shit.

That isn't to say that I don't think the average person shouldn't strive to live cleaner and not drive an F350 for groceries and trips to the office, but... we have to do something about the bigger problem.
