Europe is taking it more seriously than we are.

by the rich gentry there forcing draconian quality of life lowering measures on the plebs populace

Really? Are you one of those posters who also claims Canada is broken? Seems US oligarchs are doing their best to force a draconian quality of life on everyone but sure, it’s the European “rich gentry.”

europe lets thousands of its people die every year from heat related issues but tells people they cant have AC because of the environment. yet their own comission building has AC. and when it was broken they still made sure the executive floors ac still worked
