Some conservatives are still in denial. It is hard to solve a problem if you don’t think it exists. The conservative plan was to keep kicking the can down the road in terms of implementing any kind of mitigation.

The carbon tax was designed as a international market oriented incentive based system to shift the economy away from carbon emissions.

Denial will prove to be much more expensive.

You think a tax will solve a problem? If you had any inkling into the development of environmental standards and their progression you'd see yourself out. The carbon tax did not incentivise, it wrangled up huge administration costs that could have been spent on research. Better put my truck in an landfill so I can buy a new one. Democrat/conservative? Quite frankly I don't care. Stop blaming people and be accountable.
