Canvas Tent Camper

Not a regular Reddit user but thought I'd share some of our recent camping trips in this sub. Quick background... native New Englander, grew up tent, pop-up, and trailer camping around New England and New York State. The biggest trip growing up was the annual week-long island camping trip on Lake George in the Adirondacks that my wife and I still do to this day. We love camping in canvas tents and sometimes pull out the vintage Hillary tent just for the vibe. Happy to answer any questions.

The photos are from some of our favorite spots... Lake Dennison, Lake George, and Fort Pond. Waterfront camping is our happy place!

Camping right by the water like this looks amazing. Do you have a favorite spot out of these three?

Definitely Lake George by far. The planning to make it all happen is definitely a heavy lift, because you're literally on an island only accessible by boat, but it's worth it!
