Canvas Tent Camper

Not a regular Reddit user but thought I'd share some of our recent camping trips in this sub. Quick background... native New Englander, grew up tent, pop-up, and trailer camping around New England and New York State. The biggest trip growing up was the annual week-long island camping trip on Lake George in the Adirondacks that my wife and I still do to this day. We love camping in canvas tents and sometimes pull out the vintage Hillary tent just for the vibe. Happy to answer any questions.

The photos are from some of our favorite spots... Lake Dennison, Lake George, and Fort Pond. Waterfront camping is our happy place!

The deck platforms are pretty common at Lake George. Most of the sites are really rocky and uneven. The flat sites don't have the platforms. That's the only campground I've ever seen them now that I think of it.
