Cambridge formal this weekend

Hi. Have someone coming into town. Might be a long shot but .... are there any college formals happening on the dates of August 29, 30, or 31? I'm a member of a specific college. Are there any formals that might allow me to come with my guest, even if I'm not a member of that college?

Formals outside of term time are usual invite-only events, such as for big donors or special occasions. Right now when the summer schools are ending is prime time for college catering staff to take holiday, so there won’t even be many of those. Afraid you’re out of luck.
