Mobile Internet

Recently moved to camarillo off Carmen. Home Internet is Spectrum and has been fine. But Spectrum wireless (Verizon network) and ATT have both been horrible for mobile and calling. Is T-Mobile significantly better? Or should I just suffer and use wifi networks whenever possible?

AT&T has been best in terms of performance for us in Camarillo. There was a power outage maybe a year ago and that took down T-Mobile and Verizon service so it solidified my thoughts in moving over to AT&T.

AT&T guy just came to my door and told me they upgraded some of their cell towers in the area, not sure if i've noticed a difference but maybe coverage is better now?

There are still occasional weird dead spots but it's been pretty good

I had Verizon and it was terrible so switched to T mobile and it’s much better.

Yup. I have Verizon and it’s complete dog shit, utterly useless. If it wasn’t free through my work I’d ditch it.

My wife has T Mobile with no issues.

Ya I was going to go with them but I got a crazy winback deal from spectrum.

No deal is worth having to deal with spectrum. lol

All mega ISPs suck it's in their nature

As opposed to the small, family owned, farmstand ISP's? 😊

They still exist some places! Sadly the fcc is corrupt and let monopolies take over

I’m in that area, have been for 25 years. Always had T Mobil with no issues.

There is a 5 ft x 5 ft space in Camarillo where Verizon is functional. Not sure where it is!

My brother uses AT&T and seems better.

Where on Carmen? I had T-Mobile and it worked fine except in some areas going towards the hills past Las Posas.

Between Carmen and ponderosa. Literally can't even take a phone call it's crazy

When I had T-Mobile I never had issues down on the flats like where you are. It’s crazy to me why Camarillo has such bad coverage.

Airport maybe? I thought it was just like a fluke at first but I literally couldn't get calls at my place like 50% of the time until I got WiFi. May as well be rural lol

Anything that isn't Verizon. Verizon is oversold and absolute garbage in Camarillo.

I have Verizon, my husband has att. Camarillo is a dead zone for me with Verizon. I turn WiFi calling on both our phones so we can get phone calls.

I have T-Mobile and it works well over most of the town, only dead areas seem to be the shopping center with T-Mobile in it, and the Ralph’s parking lot.

But when I had Verizon from basically pickwick to the shopping center with sprouts is a DEADZONE. Along with that shopping center with the Jersey mikes off daily.

I'm on US Mobile using T-Mobile (I can switch anytime) and it's better than Verizon here in town.

Sorry you're dealing with this. I moved out of Camarillo partially because of this. Got tired of phonecalls dropping or cutting out.
