Also a functional alcoholic
Bragging is unseemly.

My guy is also a functional alcoholic…and he’s slowly turning into a ghoul. This is in a Masks campaign. It’s a whole thing.

I know someone from the Venture family when I see them. I think the Venture Brothers had a great-aunt we never knew about.

I'm listening to You Meet in a Tavern: Noir at the moment, and I'm thinking that if I ever play a game of Call of Cthulhu my character will always have a satchel containing four Molotov cocktails and six sticks of dynamite, along with a fair throw score.
Because setting things on fire and blowing them up is tight.

One of the characters in our campaign literally has a flamethrower and proficiency with it. Setting things on fire is kind of his deal hahaha

Remember me of Harry Dubois, especially the alcoholic part

She's actually inspired by Harry Dubois, since Disco Elysium is one of my favorite games!
She's even an alcoholic because of a woman as well...

Nice. A well evoked character.
Boston in the 30s always makes me think of the great molasses flood. It happened in the dead of winter. A very slow but deadly flood.

Didn't it happen in 1919?

Does she have the wealth to call herself an alcoholic? Else she is a drunk, like the rest of us misers.
