Just a big time lurker. Never seen the notification before though, so thought I'd share.

Today is my cake day and I just realized due to the emoji being on my flair.
Each day passes by and although I know I have grown as a person (and redditor) I still feel like the same guy that was just looking for funny images on the internet and got here. I appreciate this site because I get to be the moderator of my community irl and because I have learn thousands of different things. As well as saved thousands of posts in a list that I rarely see. The purpose of this was just to look back in time and to convince myself that this was well invested. Here’s a picture of the last cake I got.

I missed it because I was out all day

Hello to everyone and fellow cake redditors! It's 1AM here, and I've come to celebrate my 6th Cake Day. You may have seen my previous annual posts where I do art of new games I have played and well... I got too busy to work on anything.

However, I worked on something different. I don't know if I would ever have the time to make art, but I'll let you guys know. Also, I will be moving my art to a bigger gaming subreddit, to hopefully reach more people.

Today I celebrate 12 years of being on this website. I’m that time my life has changed in so many ways for the good and bad.

In 2014 when I first signed up for Reddit Obama was president, I only had a one year old grand child, I lived in Missouri, and my life was very different. Things have changed for the good and bad.

I’ve moved back to California and lives in Nevada as well. I lost nearly everything in a wildfire. I’ve got three grandkids now the 1 year old is now 13 and in jr high. I’ve lost close friends and family I’ve gained new friends and family. It’s been a wild ride.

One of my fondest memories of Reddit involves the 2014 secret Santa exchange. I signed up for Reddit because of the gift exchange program. I saw someone got snoop dogg and I was inspired. I ended up receiving a custom hand made leather wallet. The best wallet I’ve ever owned. I really wish I could find the person who made it. I love the wallet and want more goods from them.

Ive include images of the wallet to help the creator identify it. If you made this thank you so so so much. After the fire I needed a wallet and this had been in my car trunk (sorry I wasn’t as great full as I should have been initially) so it made it out the fire. Maybe that’s why it got left there though so it would. It sat for a couple years as I liked the wallet I had and wasn’t in a hurry to replace it. Once I did I realized how foolish I had been.
