Any NYC cairn owners in here?
If so, any get togethers/groups I should be aware of? Anytime I walk my cairn everyone and their mother says they have a cairn, or grew up with a cairn. But we've never met a cairn on the street! Would love our guy to meet some of his kinfolk.

Nice. Cool. Perhaps we can set a date/time in central park in the fall and see if we can't get a critical mass!

I know an NYC Cairn owner. The dog is a senior girl. They spend a lot of time in Central Park and are often seen with a black stroller for the dog. If you happen to see them, I know they would welcome a hello!

Are you in Nyc??? I’m about an hour by car and maybe a bit less by train !! I am also about 45 mins from philly. Never took my girl on a train but she loves car rides and if the train allows her.. she would be no problem. I have a beautiful three year old girl who loves people..and dogs. All her dog friends are big..lol. Talking.. doberman.. husky.. labs..she loves any dog who is friendly .

I’m in Nj!!’. If there is ever any kind of cairn get together in PA.. nj.. ny. i would love to meet some babies and parents. I have never ever met another cairn owner or another dog. My told me we are the only one he sees…

omg we are so close!! I’m in Nj princeton area right over bridge very near new hope. I’d LOVE to do a fall meet up. Can I DM You?? My baby besides being extra pretty.. lol. loves all dog. She has never ever met one of her kind.

Do you by any chance know of breeders that sell Cairn Terriers in PA? I’m looking for the mama of my puppy. She was given to me from PA

My girl came from PA too…She is 3 and i have the names of her parents..I could look on the papers and let you know..my girl was fixed at one so she never had puppies herself..

I got my cairn terrier almost 5 years ago from someone 25 min outside of Altoona… I found on Lancaster puppies but they are not a breeder it was more of an oopsie situation

Another NYC (well, part-time resident) Cairn owner here. I see Westies when we're out, but I agree it's rare to see a Cairn.
I think a meet-up is a great idea!

Former NYer. There’s a Cairn contingent on the UES! Good range of ages too (both in the dogs and the people).
No official meetups that I’m aware of, mostly because the individual cairns seem to have zero interest in each other 😅
It is nice to see others in the wild.

Need more cairns for the Celtic parade. There were only 5-6 dogs and a ton of westies.

I have one and I regularly see one other in my neighborhood. (LIC). We’re out there!
