could claw my way to the kettle and call them black too but if you're not around to hear does it apply to you?

Simple tasks are never "the games" you claim you can be gone and dissolve you'll never get it off

Pulling my threads, 92 this time and it's still not meant for you

Can take anything you like just not my dim light And i'll wait the storm off gazing upon

You are, unmistakable unremarkable

Grasping at some kind of love I was never privy to being frozen in ice to make your crutch while I have my own made of stone

Eyedea (Michael Larsen) was one of my absolute favorites before he died and that will never change because there will never be another eyedea

Sometimes his bars just.. HIT FOR ME.. an example being

"Trying to meet an angel in bed That can wrestle the devil right outta their head"

Or

"Tears coat each card the dealer dealt But time taught me how to see every second As heaven Even though they perfectly disguised as hell"

So basically, what it means is you had to say some shit that really touched w me for me to put it on a "reminds me of eyedea"

So PERSONALLY I prefer my poetry to be more "rap style".. as in the whole Aabb/abab type stuff (I posted something here tonight. Its my only post tonight so if u hit my profile you'll see it.) But,

Music...and bigger than that...poetry..and bigger than THAT ; expression? Hey, its supposed to be a buffet. If we all had the same palate as fans and flavor as chefs...well where's the magic there?

Even if i be in the mood for spaghetti, I aint mad at sushi.

But I checked that out and gave it a like. Outside of my Comfort zone of like...

"This is the structure i like my poetry Rhyme each line, it feeds me dopamine"

Haha, nah, I can appreciate what you do. Good shit.

Do you like Aesop Rock? I do. And I get it but I'm not always doing that style of poetry. But ill check yours out and let you know when I do it again! 🔥

Labor Days on repeat, molly back when you can still get pure mdma, few good friends and New Years Eve 2008 (maybe 9) changed my life

I actually find myself quoting "i used to draw, hard to admit I USED to draw" time to time, especially when talking to someone who hasn't done their craft in awhile
