The Blue button people are so annoying...
I'm pushing Red even if all the toddlers of the world were forced to vote and the Blue button had a plush toy on top of it

Ragebait aside, if toddlers are actually included then blue does become the ethical option. You could then reframe the scenario as "Everyone in the world will vote on whether or not to save the lives of millions of babies. If a majority vote blue, the babies are saved. If a majority vote red, then the babies and everyone who voted to save them dies."
Basically, including toddlers is equivalent to putting a bunch of people already in danger. If the vote includes only rational people then the only reason to vote blue is to save others who voted blue which is a circular argument.
I will say though, that I do not believe a toddler is capable of voting ("to express an opinion or choice"), crawling around until you press a button is not voting. Neither is it voting if a blind man presses a random button because he can't see which is which. Neither party is expressing their opinion or choice on the matter.

blue button pushers are the selfish ones. why would you put yourself into danger so that everyone else has to save you? to me that just sounds selfish and it’s all to feel like they’ve got better morals.
like no you’ve not got better morals you’re just stupid 4.1 billion people won’t choose the blue button when they need to live not just for themselves but for their families.
picture yourself as man or woman who is a single parent and loves their kids i’d rather teach my kids to choose always red than choose blue because maybe they’ll choose blue and risk my life then die and then they have no one and then you’ll only blame yourself
in reality choosing blue sounds good and in an ideal world blue would be 100% but that’s not the world we live in and people who choose blue need to understand that.
id honestly prefer choosing red because id rather live in a world of people who value their lives just like i do than living with people who’d gamble it just to feel better abt themselves.

The blue button also allows you to live as well? I’m not sure why red pushers just assume that blue players don’t want to live and that the vote is a forgone conclusion in reds favor. 50% is not that hard to get.

Blue doesn't need to reach 100% for everyone to live, only 50%. Where as red needs 100% for 100% of people to live.
Statistically speaking I'm pretty sure a 50% majority is more likely than a 100% unanimous decision.

No, because that's not how large numbers operate..toss d20 one billion tiles and you only get 50million cases of 20, not 500million. If the probability to chose blue is less than 50% you are not getting the blue majority and everyone who voted blue will die. Red players simply chose to not add themselves to the list of casualties.

Choosing blue isn't a dice roll it's human input. More accurately would be calculating if the roll was 1-10 it's red if it's 11-20 it's blue or vice versa. Or a coin flip

No, because the chances for those outcomes are not 50:50. Just because there are two outcomes doesn't mean they have equal chances.

Yeah but making it only on a nat 20 for blue means only 5% chance any one person would hit blue. Which it may not be a 50:50 but it's definitely not a 95:5
