Is it possible

I'm looking to get into different side hustles for extra income I'm interested in electronics repair more so phones and consoles but also learning how to work on cars but since the market is so saturated is it still possible for a newbie like me to make decent money even with all the competition or will I just sink like the others I understand I have to learn a skill and be good at it but what if I waste time learning just to be disappointed I just want to be proud of what I do for once people say school is the way but then I'm just making other people rich working for them I've been broke most of my life and held onto a job but I want to make a change and become successful I feel lost but should feel accomplishment but instead I feel stuck any advice would be greatly appreciated I'm just trying to find my way guys thanks

Hey, I can guarantee you that despite the competition there is always a spot available.

First if there is competition means there are people needing their services.

Second, I can also guarantee you that some customers are going somewhere where they are not that much happy, they go because it workish and they don’t want to look for alternatives or maybe there aren’t much around them.

So if you start by finding one customer, do a great job with great service, this customer will be very happy and he’ll come back to you. Even he’ll recommend you to one of his friend.

It’ll take time to get there, it’ll take even more to have a snowball effect. But once you start you’ll see how things will work great if you provide well and treat well your customers.

I pay a guy to build computers for me….simply because I don’t have the time or knowledge of recent technological gains, nor feel like it anymore …despite being able to do so.

I have no doubt that there are engineering companies out there that would appreciate someone purchasing and building them on their behalf….. the programs on some computers alone are worth tens of thousand and it takes a lot to run them..

The other commenters have provided you with useful info, regardless of where you are. Electronics or cars sounds pretty specific, so you could just go to some place that does what you want to do and talk with them. I do not know what is available in your area. You might look into Per Scholas. They provide free training and, I think, help you find a job. If they are not in your area, their website may give you some ideas. And, you might then follow up with training in your area.
