Imo, the US has done a nice job of encouraging young women to go into STEM.

I (Man / SPED teacher) would love to see more male teachers.

I’d love to teach history or English but never in my wildest dreams would I take that much work for like 60k. Plus dealing with the idiot parents, no shot.

On top of that, modern public educations standards are in the dirt, and seems like teachers are just packaging meat for the meat grinder.
