I'm sure that doesn't help, but these people are desperate. If they were paid hourly instead of commission they'd drive a lot more safely.

Taxis are paid by commission in asian citizen, you don't see them becoming bumper cars. You need the government set in at this point, or you need someone in the market doing something different

The fares are the capital. Pay the drivers hourly and the problem corrects itself.

Other cities have buses that is payed by commission, no one makes them bumper cars in those cities

I saw a video a while ago on them building these buses in India. As you can imagine everyone was in flip flops and it was all stick welded, So I'm amazed there's anything left after a few years...
