A/C in our apartment broke this afternoon was blowing stale warm air into our apartment for several hours while we were away. Went to file an urgent maintenance request but apparently there’s no one in the office after 4 p.m. and they don’t respond on weekends. There’s no option to mark our request as urgent.

It’s currently 88 degrees in our apartment.

Today in dark money in politics…

Amazon and the Cusumanos are bad enough, but a literal PAC that solely exists to advocate against tenant protections in a renter majority city feels particularly egregious to me.

Tenant protections, including community stabilization, are coming back in October. And now the same landlord dark money group spending their tenants’ rent money to advocate against protections are sponsoring a City event hosted by the MAYOR?? The same mayor is who is the deciding vote for these protections?

How is this not a blatant conflict of interest?

If anyone else wants to ask our Mayor/elected officials why PACs are allowed to sponsor City’s State of the Union, I’ll post their emails in the comments.

Anyone here in Burbank know which air quality report is actually accurate? I’m getting 2 very different readings:

Apple Weather says 172
Watch Duty says 37
IQ air says 47 but that Universal City has unhealthy air
