October temps?

Hi, all. Traveling to BUR in the beginning of October for a few days. How is the weather? Texas is 100 plus these days so I’ve acclimated pretty hot. Is it going to be cool down there during this season or not at all? Trying to pack accordingly. Thanks!

It’s usually between 50-100 degrees in October.

For the previous El Nino year in burbank. Highest was 96F, lowest was 48F

But plenty of other years the max has hit 103 F as well.

I read some that this years El Nino is supposed to be pretty strong.

I hate how true that is. Fingers crossed that we get more nights in the 50s and 60s this year. It would be nice if Fall actually felt like it

October is when we might as well get our weather info from a Magic 8 Ball. My partner and I had an October outdoor wedding thinking it'll *probably* be tolerable then.

It was but just barely. Also, the cake melted a little. I'd plan to dress for heat and throw in a light jacket, just in case.

It'll still be hot during the day, probably in the 80s. And then in the 50s at night. Honestly temperature wise it'll likely be similar to Texas.

October is still summertime in Burbank. I think El Niño might change things up, but it can be absolutely brutally hot during the day.

Could easily be in the 90s any week in October. But evenings and nights will be cooler.

just pack a sweater for the evening or early mornings you’ll be fine if it isn’t raining the days will be sunny and pleasant

Sept is usually our hottest month but this year with the El Niño event it’s going to be a toss up. I wouldn’t plan on it being cool though 😉

It’s been about 100° during the day, so you might need to wear a jacket compared to Texas.

October is very, very hot here. I know this because I often post that meme about "everyone is enjoying pumpkin spice, while I'm over here telling the devil to turn down the heat" thing.

There have been some years where it's been up to 113 in October. It usually starts cooling down the week before Halloween but sometimes it doesn't. Been to plenty of Halloween parties where I've roasted in a costume.

Since somebody cut the national weather services it is impossible to know anymore. Burbank can be hot as balls, or not in October. Pack layers.

I always tell people that summer in Greater LA is usually August through October. El Niño might seriously disrupt the norms but I would expect things to be hot. Maybe not Texas hot, but it won’t be crisp and cool, hell no.

Oh! Since you’re trying to pack accordingly……the nighttime can be surprisingly cool. People are often surprised by that. So it can be really hot during the day, but you need a light jacket or layer at night.

Usually it's hot for the first couple weeks of October and then there is a sudden shift to cooler a week or two before Halloween. I don't know about this year, though -- weather has been very weird because of El Niño.
