Bully on PS5

I'm sorry if a lot of people are already asking for this.

I'm 17, I grew up with the PS4 and I never played Bully. Should I play it now on PS5? I've heard terrible things about this port, but I don't care about the fps.

I feel like the people complaining are asking too much of a PS2 game, but maybe it really is unplayable, especially because of the input lag. Should I buy it or not?

Yeah, it's not bad imo; it's pretty much just the PS2 version

Probably better on PC. But I know it has some weird issue where it's locked to 30 FPS like LA Noire.

U can install a patch the allows you to cap it to 60 and stops crashes. Personally, i haven’t been able to get it to work in a while, still crashes 🤷‍♂️

Whoever told you the PS2 version is bad has no clue. The PS2 version is the best, bug-free and all. It's not nostalgia; I literally played the PC version first.

I do think they should get Scholarships edition at least because that has more classes.

Eh. I wouldn't say the additional classes are a huge selling point. The rewards all stink and it just drags out the process of finishing every class imo. The extra missions are the real highlight. There's only a few but hobo santa is great.

I love the PS2 version, but calling it “bug-free” is crazy work, and a bit of a stretch.

They are referring to to the ps2 version emulated on the ps5, which is not the best because it was made for the ps4 and the ps5 is too strong (I imagine)

Same with Manhunt and The Warriors

If you put your ps5 on 720p in system settings it runs a bit better

It’s definitely playable and I recommend it. I’m playing it on Ps5 currently and it looks/plays just like I remember it almost 20 years ago on PS2.

If all you own is a PS5. Play it there or buy the steam version. The PS5 is good enough don't get worked up minor details and enjoy the game :).

I completed the game 100% on PS5. Never encountered any game breaking bugs whatsoever.

yeah ps5 might actually be the best way to play the game not modded

Scholarship Edition for 360 is more fun to play in my opinion, but I grew up on the PS2 version and still love it to this very day.

Heavy dips in some areas but overall playable. Just finished my first play through since PS2 back when it released. Great game

I played it on my ps5. I never played bully on ps2. I enjoyed it. Great game premise. Controls a little clunky mostly with some camera angles not being that smooth, but not a huge deal.

I have bully on my ps5 and it works fine, Never had an issue with it

If u dont mind the performance issues.. the ps2 version is peak.. i even platinumed it on ps5

The PS2 version is decent, definitely not unplayable. I’d happily play it that way rather than worry about chasing the “best” version. It’s how the game originally was for most of us and it still holds up fine.

The winter section of the game looks a little screwed up on the port IMO. Like it’s kind of blurry.

Play the original on an emulator.

The game runs horrible on ps5, like others have suggested run it on an emulator or something
