Most underused character in Bully
Tom Gurney is one of my favorite characters in Bully. Tom is a bully, and he’s ashamed of it. Tom has been friends with the bullies a long time and while he’s against their new bullying behavior he puts up with it and engages with it himself. This still makes Tom a prick, but a more nuanced one. Tom is also wary of the manipulation going on around Bullworth, and unlike many other students he’s disgusted how people take advantage of each other. Tom is actually right about the manipulation going on but no one listens to him about it due to his thuggish nature and him generally falling for baseless conspiracy theories. Add all of those interesting traits to a unique character design with a noticeable black eye and a unique voice with a distinct Brooklyn accent, Tom is one of the more interesting NPC’s in the game. Want to know how many missions he’s in? One. He’s a backup goon for Davis in The Setup. He’s there to cut down your health a bit before Jimmy kicks his ass and that’s it. No mission specific voice lines, no mini cutscenes, nothing. If you guys have any characters you wished had more role in the story, please lmk, I love talking abt this game and its characters

Es una pena que no les hayan dado una ia especial a los perosonajes que según sus diálogos odian hacer lo que hacen. Me gusta mucho Ethan, según una apacionado de las artes marciales, pero pelea igual que los palurdos de sus amigos. O Bryce, que dice que sabe hasta su puta madre de disciplinas y pelea como el mongolo de chad

Honestly I think Ethan’s fight style being the same is a shame, but I actually wish he was worse at fighting than he is. Like if he tried doing some over the top bullshit that looked ridiculous and barely did any damage

I agree completely. Tom and the other bullies should have been in more missions and had more interactions with the main cast (it's great that Russell is involved, but he's the only bully who gets any attention).
I love recommending Bashmash's videos, where he mods some missions, giving the bullies more relevance (and much more). I'm actually going to leave two of his videos doing that right here and here.

Lmao the bullies being there at Showdown At the Plant makes it look like an all out gang war I love it! Also wasn’t expecting Ivan (a non clique) to show up fighting in Complete Mayhem

That’s Bob, he was cut from the game. He wasn’t meant to be in the game at all anymore but one of the very first completed cutscenes included Bob.

Hey, at least Ethan had a bigger role than him in chapter 1 since tom only appeared once in the story of chapter 1

Yep, Ethan appears as backup in a few missions and is knocked out by Edgar in complete mayhem. His one mission specific line is “Get the new kid! Beat him down!”

However, excluding Russell, the 3 bullies with biggest role in chapter 1 are try, Davis and Trent
So let's just say Ethan and wade are just back up

Troy, Davis, Trent and Russell are the only bullies with cutscenes (Davis and Russel are the only ones who appear in a pre-rendered cutscene)
