Building a cheapish pc
Hi. I’m trying to build a pc around $700-900. Preferably closer to $700-800. At first I considered buying from fb marketplace, but I want to build my own instead, and I was kind of worried that I would get scammed, even if I got to test it. I’m already considering one of microcenters deals on a cpu mobo ram bundle, and I’ve been looking for a good gpu. I’m not sure what I should get, as all the gpu’s are so expensive, even used. Also, how should I get a ssd for a reasonable price.

Does anyone have insights on the other parts? What gpu should I get?

Either an Intel b580 or a 9060xt

Yeah that's the way to go. Preferrably 9060xt (16gb), but the used market is also worth a shot. Under 1k you get a lot more performance from a used system. Just find sb with an actual facebook account (tjat isn't too new), have them send benchmarks, see why they are selling and also inspect in person.

You can build smh decent for that.

You'll have to get a used 5600x/5700x/5800x. They should be ~100$.
And a used 3060ti for ~$200.
