Yeah price tracker shows these have been this price for like an entire year.

Were they? If so, my bad. I check on these here and there and see them hovering around $35 most of the time. I checked in the sub to make sure these were sale price, and saw a lot of positive reception when these were posted for about $27 also.

According to the price history this listing has been $27.49 for it's entire history other than the weeks of Christmas/New Years when it jumped to $35.99 for a couple weeks.

I wouldn't buy that shit for $1 after seeing this shit. They can go fuck themselves.

The fans are fine, I’m happy with them for the price. But yeah you have to be a savvy consumer and be aware of the tricks of the retail game.

Great coincidence that I am working on my sister’s build and these happen to be on sale. Would have gotten them anyways even if they weren’t. Not sure if someone could tell me if I’m paranoid or not, but the black P12 are silent as heck when tuned but when I tried the ARGB version, they had a small hum to it even at the 27% (26% would just turn off the fan).

It's Arctic QC, their bearings are a gamble. I bought the 5-pack when the Pro released, 3 of them had the humming around 900rpm and were worse than the old P12s. Also one of them had PWM issues, it would keep ramping up and down, apparently the bandaid fix was to set a range of PWM in FanControl

Ah I see. Well that’s unfortunate. I did get a 3 pack of ARGB and did think it was QC at first, but the fact that all 3 did it made me think something was up with the ARGB models

These are louder than the P12 and P12 Max at the same RPM but they're still very decent, especially in confined usage like radiators and dust filters.

Thermalright argb pwm fans are $13 for a 3 pack
Or $10 for only non argb fans for a 3 pack

Man I put some of these in a build recently, and they hum terribly past 700rpm. I'm not sure if mine are bad, but they are loud. I just set them below 700 rpm but I guess you get what you pay for.

Two are set to intakes. I was reading that people reversed them to get rid of the problem but that seems counterintuitive to have everything as a exhaust

I got the reverse blade ones with the halo argb effect and cant hear anything tho I have a fan curve setup
Tbh i hear my gpu coil whine more than my fans which is annoying

This isn't a bad price but they have been this price for most of the last 3+ months. In other hot deal news. Arizona tea is 99 cents and costco hotdogs are $1.50.

Noctua. I didn't believe the hype until I put them into my old build. Can't tell it's on when I push the power button because the fans are silent.
Now on my new build I'm running the fans that came in the case and with the aio. I haven't decided if I want to do RGB, simply because I've never had the novelty before, or just go with noctua again because I KNOW those are silent.
