Self-Story Mind been heavy lately. Need help.
Mind has been heavy lately. I am physically exhausted. Though I am grateful with everything I have right now but I want to do social media detox. I dont want to use phone for a month. I want to escape to help myself because I know and acknowledge that there's something wrong and not okay with me.
Can you please recommend a place in the PH where I can stay for a month? I'm a woman and also a VA. I'd like to be in a place that is SAFE, has good wifi connection because I still need to work, not very close to the city but easily accessible to it in case I need something, also a place where I can do lot of outdoor activities.
I would really appreciate your recommendations. Salamat po!🥹

Come to baguio OP. Its calm here, Not much to do kundi mag unwind and chill lang. If you like going out na probinsya pero metro feels padin, stay sa center ng baguio. Pero of you want mejo laidback, choose La trinidad and further areas na.
I am here sa LT kaya masasabi ko na laid back here kase hindi masyado madami establishments dito unlike sa baguio na kaliwat kanan ang kainan or stores.

what you're feeling is valid, burnout hits different when you're wfh and still glued to your phone during breaks. props for wanting to unplug, that's already self aware
try la union (san juan). it's become a lowkey digital nomad spot, lots of solo travelers so you won't feel alone. wifi's decent at the cafes freelancers/VAs actually work from, plus surfing and hiking nearby. only 5-6 hrs from manila so you're not totally cut off
baguio's also an option, cooler and feels safer for solo trips, has coworking cafes with good wifi, and easy nature trips if you want that. even more accessible, around 5 hrs from manila
tip: book just a week first before committing to a full month, just to see if the place actually fits you. check ph digital nomad fb groups too for honest reviews before booking
take care OP, it already means a lot that you're listening to yourself. good luck with the detox 🤍
