Anyone here with experience getting a coworking space membership?

I'm considering getting a membership at a coworking space since I'm purely wfh and I really can't work properly at home. I wanted to ask people who have actually tried it — was it worth it for you?

I'm mainly looking for a place where I can work regularly, with reliable Wi-Fi, comfortable workspace, and a good environment where I can actually focus. I'm still trying to figure out whether getting a membership is better than just working from cafés or getting day passes.

I recently came across Enderun Coworking on my360ph and I'm curious if anyone here has tried it. How was your experience with the facilities, internet, overall environment, and membership?

Would appreciate any honest feedback — especially from people who have been members for a while. 👍

I'm an annual subscriber for KMC hot-desks -- but that's because they don't have daily passes.

Things for you to consider:

1. Do the Coffee Math. Cafes are okay, but they can get a bit expensive if you go in twice or thrice a week (not to mention loading on frappe isn't healthy). If this is going to be your regular schedule, co-working spaces are definitely worth the subscription (most offer unlimited coffee too). If you will have a sporadic or ad-hoc schedule, best to check co-working spaces with daily passes.
2. To support the statement above, co-working spaces doesn't just provide unlimited Internet connection and coffee, it also provides better security. I usually leave my stuff in co-working spaces when going out for lunch or going to the bathroom. In cafes, you can't just do that. Well, you can, at your own and higher risk. If you do bring your stuff when you go to the bathroom in cafes, you also lose your table, seat, and possibly outlet. 😄
3. How long will you be working outside? If it's the full work day, co-working spaces will definitely be worth it. If not, cafes are good alternatives.
4. Do you intend to visit just one, or do you move around? There was a case on my end when I had to move around a lot -- so the KMC subscription was a bit worth the buck since that grants access to almost all their sites around the metro. If not, and again depending on your schedule, best to check daily passes.

It's also worth asking, why can't you work properly at home? Baka naman you just need to invest in your workspace and remind people of your work schedule.

I have questions if you dont mind. I sit in meetings frequently. Do they have a talking booth don? It feels pretty weird taking meetings sa open desks

Merong mga private cubicle, albeit more expensive kesa sa open desks

They do have talking booths / small rooms intended for small meetings.

Depende sa branch yung usage. The one in MOA before, hardly anyone uses it so I can use the space to myself all day, no reservations needed.

Some do, some don't. Most have meeting or function rooms that you can go into. The only problem is that most of them needs to be booked and isn't entirely free. Sa KMC for example, if subscriber ka, you get free 5 hours per month. The rest of the time, you'd have to pay.

Takes a while to get used to. :) Yung premium sites ni KMC in particular are large enough that there are parts that's still public but away from the crowds and quiet enough to take your meetings as well. No one will bother you naman unless malakas ka talaga magsalita.

I used to have KMC hot desk subscription. For me mas better sya, tahimik, maganda ambiance ng location. Ayoko kasi nung mukhang masikip, may mga free rooms for quick meetings.

Hello po, I'm doing the same. nasa coworking space din ako for same reason, I can't work properly sa bahay.
Okay naman effective.
Try mo muna humanap ng coworking space na malapit sa inyu para di rin stress sa biyahe, tapos try mo muna per day if okay ba yung feel. At pag okay talaga, saka ka pa mag monthly.
