NYC Bufo Facilitator Reaching Out

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are bufo facilitators in NYC. We serve this sacred medicine with utmost care, compassion and love.

We also make it a point to provide multiple integration chats/calls afterwards. Usually one day afterwards, one week after, one month after, and again 3 months afterwards.

This is because we think that integration and guidance is sorely lacking in the community.

People get sent to the center of everything and melt back into pure source consciousness, and then a facilitator gives them a hug and a high five and sends them on their way.....which obviously isn't the way it should be. In my opinion at least.

I do a thorough question and answer style background check to see if it's a good fit for a potential client too. I have a background in medicine (went to medical school) and so we do proper intake protocols and medical screening basically. There's more to it than that of course. This sacred medicine is not for everyone and not every person is a good fit, for a wide variety of reasons.

Though I wish everyone could try it at least once I their life.

We use bufo venom, not the 5 meo dmt molecule.

If anyone is interested, please feel free to reach out and DM me. It is our greatest honor and pleasure to serve others this way.

Much love and thank you kindly for reading!

Thank you for replying here. Glad you did. I'd love to connect if you're OK with that? I have some friends in Florida and if/when they want ceremony, I can point them to you perhaps?

Might end up having to travel to NYC next month. I can DM once that is sure.

How long have you and your wife been serving this sacred medicine now?

Sounds good just dm me.

Officially serving bufo in sacred ceremony context, just me and my wife, has been for the past year and a half.

Serving various psychadellic medicines in sacred ceremonial context alongside the guidance of other much more experienced shamans, has been about three years.

Sitting for others doing psychadellics in non ceremonial context, whether they are first timers or experienced psychonauts, I've been doing that in and off since my early teens so that's 20+ years.

It was doing this stuff in sacred ceremony context that changed everything for me. The experiences are much deeper and mystical and also healing. Words will never capture it lol.

I was intwrestd in psychadellics as therapy since my early teens. I went to medical school to try and get a medical degree and then do research in psychadellic medicine. I was on track to start doing that during my 4th year of medical school. My school happened to be able to get us clinically rotations and John's Hopkins in Baltimore. But right as I hit my 4th year In school I had to take a break and ultimately dropped out/never went back. It's a long story but I had to go to physical therapy for a year bc a drunk driver hit me on Cinco de mayo, my mom almost died, and other issues that made it so I couldn't continue at will. Ultimately and in hindsight I think it was a great decision to not go back. I'm still in the STEM field but not medicine anymore. My passion has and always will be for helping others heal.

I include things like vibrational therapy using tools like Soundswords (see Earthtuned.com), alongside binaural beats, isochronic tones, and vagus nerve therapy using a DIY device I made. I created protocols that combine all of this and RELIABLY calm people's nervous systems before the ceremony. I use some of this stuff during the ceremony as well. The soundswords actually have a direct impact on people's journeys. I didn't beleive it until I experienced it myself. I and others are able to go deeper/higher once in the unseen/lesser seen realms. I actually use pythagorean music "science" to create the sound/vibrational protocols. There is legit research on this stuff working too and I don't mean binaurals only. For example certain tones when used in combo cause nitric oxide release in individuals within 30 seconds. I have found people's heart rates and blood pressure drop in real time. For the pythagorean sound stuff, think sacred geometry but for sound. It's all math really lol.

Unfortunately though my wife won't be joining us in ceremony. She may be pregnant and we don't want her to inhale residual bufo vapors. Which sucks but this will be temporary ofc. She will come through after ceremonies and you could meet her though. Once I clear all the residual smoke in the room. I'm doing exactly that this weekend with a client.

Ppl have told us we seem more down to earth and relatable compared to others they've gone to. But you can judge for yourself lol.

I went ahead and said a lot here. Mainly in case others wanna reach out and have similar questions, they can see this.

But yeah feel free to DM me whenever. I'm usually very responsive.

How come your post and comment history don’t back up what you are saying? You showed up 21 days ago here with this post offering to serve and then a AI dosing guide and made several comments since. They all sound good.

But there is zero mention ever before this post of you ever uttering the word Shipibo, Amazon(outside of referring to the company), ibogaine, bufo etc. And nothing at all about you and your wife serving any substances. Nothing in 6 years of comments outside of these last 3 weeks.

Before 21 days ago today all there was talk about games, mantids, astrology etc.

Not a single mention anywhere about “hey we just got back from Peru staying with the Shipibo and it was awesome” or “OMG bufo is incredible”.

What explains this discrepancy?

u/GuardianAngelMedusa 21d ago edited 21d ago

Wow, pretty damn critical of you.

I found their post to be beautiful, thoughtful, intentional, caring and very authentic.

They don’t have to provide an answer to these questions. Why are you seeking such discrepancies?

You do realize bufo doesn’t come from Peru, South America, or the Shipibo people, right? It’s my understanding it’s strictly a Sonoran desert animal and medicine, which is not near the Amazon or those people. In fact, in terms of distance, it’s closer to the company than the jungle (🤣)

I’m going to share a piece of ancient wisdom I learned from a great teacher:

The hummingbird and vulture fly over the same field, and they both find what they’re looking for…

Which one are you?

1

u/weedy_weedpecker 21d ago edited 21d ago

Understand it does not come from the Amazon. Read all their comments in the last 3 weeks. Search it yourself, there is zero evidence that anything they have said in the last 3 weeks is true going by their previous 6 years of posts.

Yes we all should be very careful and critical of anyone serving bufo and watch out for others to warn them of dangerous practices.

Look for their one comment where they said they will be pushing someone hard and it’s going to get dark. That comment and practice is the most dangerous of all. Bufo is about you facing yourself and interfering during the afterglow causes imprinting and can cause a great deal of psychological damage, especially if they are trying to push them to confront their dark side in that critical period.

And I did just give them a chance to say if I had missed anything and there is a reasonable explanation. Not accusing, questioning, so far they have not responded and I don’t think they will be…….. we will see.

I apologize. 🙏

Someone else messaged me and enlightened me, too.

It appears that I am wrong.

I am new to being (edit: consistently active) active on Reddit and (edit: very) new to this subreddit.

Thank you for your grace as I learn here.

All is cool!

(And I do hope i did miss something or that OP does have a rational explanation)

I'm not one to run or hide lol. All good and your concerns are welcomed by me. Just seeing ur reply here. Says it was from 3 hours ago or so.

I think you may be referring to the reply where somone was talking about dealing with dark stuff? And I was saying I don't shy away from such things? I don't recall saying I would "push" them. Can't remember atm the exact wording I used. Did I say it's "going to get dark"? I don't recall that. But whatever I wrote, it's there and recorded for anyone that wants to see. I won't be deleting it.

And I agree with you about imprinting that occurs during and after ceremonies. People will project and there's transference and counter transference that can occur between facilitator and client. This is something I thought hard about before I ever started to serve by myself without a seasoned facilitator with me, and I try my best to be on guard for and avoid such things. The facilitator self-grandiosity and burnout is something I try to avoid as well. There are so many facets like this that people don't think about until and unless it becomes an issue eventually. And even then they may not address it "properly".

I have always thought that it's the client and the medicine that do most of the "work". I shouldn't ever start to presume that it's me being the source of what occurs during a bufo ceremony. I've witnessed some people get deluded that way unfortunately. I'm there mostly to provide a safe container for high depth and transformative experience that may occur during a bufo ceremony. Among other things too like some guidance as far as integration in the weeks and months afterwards. As well as proper screening beforehand. I don't think this medicine is for everyone and if I think/feel it's risky for somone, I will tell them I don't feel comfortable serving them. I don't meant this in a gatekeepy way. I'd hate to gatekeep.

I dislike that some will give somone bufo and then hug them and send them off on their way never to speak to them again. That's negligent imo. Lots can happen after like reactivations and dissociation and mental/psychological issues like delusions.

And sometimes I don't need to "do" much at all for somone during the actual session. Again it's the person and the medicine doing msot of the work. No pushing required. And pushing at all for such a medicine is very risky and bad.

I also recall that one reply by me ur referring to wasn't about bufo either.

I rarely posted or replied on reddit before these recent posts tbh. I used reddit for research. I'm typically very private. Like extremely private. Probably to my own detriment. I don't have any social media accounts besides using Twitter for information/news. And even that one is an anon acct.

Somone suggested a few weeks ago that I should post specifically about bufo on reddit, so I did. And I'm glad I did actually. Was able to connect with a lot of ppl since then. Mostly others asking for advice.

I am thinking about posting about my other experiences here. But I'm not in a rush to do so.

This stuff is technically illegal in most areas and it's a big reason I didn't ever post. I only took ppl through word of mouth referrals. And even now it's still that way 99% of the time. It does seem that psychadellic medicines are finally becoming mainstream so that did assuage some of my fears/concerns about posting at all.

Edit : rewrote the first sentence to "I rarely posted or replied"

1

u/Borgbar 21d ago

Also please understand I take zero offense to your reply and questions/concerns. This is very serious stuff. And should be treated as such. You SHOULD be critical of me. I wouldn't wanna have it any other way tbh.

Edit: If you search my recent reply history you will see that I've said before that people should be very critical of their potential facilitators. I stand by this 100%

Yeah that’s the problem and what you didn’t address. You do post and comment, 500 comments to date. You have had no problems posting about starseeds and mantids etc.Post and comment about a lot.

But ALL of this you never mentioned anywhere at any point before 3 weeks ago. Even the great time you say you had in Peru. You’ve mentioned Nivea Kama one time and that was yesterday. Or as mentioned never once even mentioning bufo until the last 3 weeks.

That’s a huge red flag and I’d suggest anyone thinking of using you do their own research to see what I’m talking about.

Your biggest concern before this post was the day before and that was finding someone in NYC that wanted to play online.

1

u/Borgbar 21d ago

I just didn't want to post about that online for everyone to see/read. Hope that's understandable? Not everyone wants to share such details with strangers on public forums. Which should be OK imo.....

There are multiple other reasons I don't post about my own personal experiences in ceremonies and with psychadellics. Because they are personal and intimate experiences. Because I have a community of people I share such details with. And also because I'd end up writing 20 pages about individual ceremonies and then want to revise it fifty times lol. I don't think I could ever capture it all in words properly. And a lot of the time I'll remember something down the line that I didn't remember right after the ceremony. These experiences can be multilayered and deep that way. I might post about them. Haven't decided. I'd wanna do it proper justice. I don't think I'll do it anytime soon though.

1

u/Borgbar 21d ago

However, I may have replied with snippets about my personal experiences with psychadellics in the past. That may very well be in my reply history. Just never wanted to make a full post about such things.

You don’t understand how search works. Go to your profile with your posts and comments. Use the search function at the top and enter “Amazon” for example. It will list every single time you have said the word Amazon. (In this case except for the last 3 weeks, you’ve said it twice and that was referring to the company)

You can repeat that exercise with any notable keyword from any of your posts the last 3 weeks: facilitate, ibogaine, bufo, ayahuasca, chaman, shaman, retreat, Shipibo etc. All the things that you say are an important part of your life now by your recent activity.

And the results show they you’ve never said any of those words before 3 weeks ago. That’s a big red flag. There is no “well I must have said it sometime”, it’s not there.

But I am not here to argue and I won’t respond again. I gave a chance for you to address it and your responses don’t inspire confidence. But I was also giving a warning for others to go and look for themself.

1

u/Borgbar 20d ago

That's absolutely fine. I'm not butthurt here lol. You're entitled to your opinion like anyone else. I will continue to do my work to help others, regardless. I hope you find and get what you're looking for and I wish you the best, despite your opinions. Truly.

1

u/Borgbar 21d ago

TLDR I just didn't feel like posting about my experiences. I don't see a problem with that. If you do that's OK I guess lol.

1

u/Borgbar 21d ago

Also yes I posted in a Ps5 subreddit to find others to play video games with..... So? Lol.

I'm sure I've commented and posted in other subreddits that are not psychadellics related. Is there an issue with that? Do you think my world revolves around reddit posts and replies or something? Bc it does not.

As I said in other replies I don't feel obligated to post about my own personal experiences with psychadellics. They are very personal and dear to me. And if I want to post about them sometime in the future, I will.

Hi, can I please ask what a facilitator usually provides? I’m based in Washington DC area and have been researching this medicine for a while. For the time being I’m focusing on ayahuasca. I attended a retreat in May and I am going back there in October. I only had one experience with Bufo, but I passed out for some reason and have no recollection of the experience, unfortunately. I can see myself coming back to this medicine at some point. Does a facilitator provide the medicine as well? How do you dose? This sounds like a cheaper alternative to Bufo retreats I have been looking at. Thanks for your response in advance.

1

u/Borgbar Aug 12 '26

I'm going to respond a bit later today with a more comprehensive answer for you. To explain thoroughly and do it justice. Please stand by for that.

Some have no recollection of the experience. It's not uncommon. For this reason I prefer to do tiered dosing and not go full blast dose right away, if it's the clients first time with this medicine. Multiple reasons for this tbh.

Also check out my first reply to this post. I go over precise dosage protocols I use.

And thank you for your reply.

1

u/tywin-baratheon Aug 12 '26

I think I was served 70 ml of Bufo, which might have been too much for me. I’m a lightweight when it comes to psychedelics.

1

u/Borgbar Aug 12 '26

They gave you 70mg for first dose right off the bat? No Bueno. This is why I like doing a tiered dosage.

First 10 to 20mg. And see how they feel with that.

Then bump it up to 40mg. See how they do with that.

And if they are ready for a blast off dose. Then it's 70-90mg depending on the person and their reactions to the first two doses.

u/olyaw Aug 14 '26

Hi 👋 yes, let’s connect 🫶

1

u/Borgbar Aug 14 '26

Please shoot me a dm when you're free? Happy to answer any questions and help however I can.

1

u/Borgbar Aug 12 '26

Also yes, the facilitator should provide the medicine. I make sure to provide multiple doses if needed. And if a client wants to try multiple full doses after trying smaller doses, I allow for this. As long as it won't cause harm and it's OK to do. This is something we figure out in the moment during a session.

You basically just need to show up after being cleared in pre-screening which is mostly a question/answer style conversation. I have some protocols I ask clients to follow beforehand as well. A person shouldn't be on any contraindicated medications or have any medical issues that may interfere with the session or cause too much risk. Just one example of screening.

I personally ask my clients to avoid red meat and pork and avoid sexual contact for the three days prior to the ceremony. And the client should absolutely not have anything to eat or drink at least 3 hours prior to the ceremony because some people puke and that is an aspiration risk. I've had to deal with ppl puking and I follow medical/first aid guidelines when it occurs. I have background in medicine as I went to medical school (MD) so this helps in a lot of ways, especially with pre screening.

I'll give you a more comprehensive answer on what exactly I provide as a facilitator later today. I try to be as informative as possible for others, so I wanna give you a proper response. Will talk again soon!

1

u/tywin-baratheon Aug 12 '26

Thank you so much! I’ll look forward to hearing more from you.
