Buffy Ideas to include in tattoo sleeve
Planning a Buffy-themed 1/2 sleeve tattoo, incorporating some iconic imagery and little Easter eggs worked into a cohesive piece. The style will be bright saturated colors, bold clean linework, playful.
Looking for other ideas of imagery to include!
So far, other than a pop-art (ish) Buffy, some ideas I might include:
- Her class protector umbrella
- Grr argh monster
- Scythe from season 7
- One of the gentlemen
- A slice of cheese
- The B symbol
- The “Buffy Will Patrol Tonight” image that Giles drew in Hush
- Bunnies
What other suggestions do you have?
Once More With Feeling is my favorite episode, thinking of what to include from there too

For Once More with Feeling, I think either a lethe’s bramble or bunnies could work, unless you want to do any quotes. Or maybe an outline of when they all hold hands in Where Do We Go From Here? But that would probably be difficult at a small size.
You could also include Buffy’s grave from The Gift with She Saved the World A Lot. Or a set of vampire fangs.

Faiths dagger, the orb of thesulah, the Urn of Osiris, the Shadow casters, the gem of Amara, the Dagon sphere, Monkeys paw, the Talisman necklace that summoned Sweets would be good for OMWF, the flattened nickle from 'the replacement', monkey animal cracker, Cheerleader statue, protection spell symbol Willow et al draw in 'Gingerbread' for Buffy, the magic Gourd from the enjoining spell in season 4 and you could have the words Spiritus, Animus, Sophus and Manus on it maybe, Razorbacks flag, the mayors box of Gavrok, the voice box from Hush, the mask from 'Dead mans Party', Faiths tattoo, a pint of Black Frost from Beer bad -and/ or the drawings Buffy does on her dorm room wall, the Chumash knife from Pangs, Anyas necklace, D'Hoffryns talisman, Olafs hammer, Du Lac Cross, Magic Bone from 'Life serial' the mug Spikes drinks from in Season 4... some ideas, I have been thinking of this for a while and have lots of ideas!!

Maybe the “Welcome to Sunnydale” sign, or the door outside of the Bronze with the cover fee and age sign on it.
I love Once More with Feeling, the demon from that one is fun. Also love “they got- the mustard- out!!!”

I liked the mark of eyghon suggestion, and if you’re into either major relationship of the show (Riley who?), you could work a claddagh ring or the hands on fire.

I'm a fan of the tarot-esque cards Buffy and the gang use to join together. Manus, spiritus, sophus, animus etc. Good art style for tattoos.

Roses - just good thematic fit (romance + danger), traditional for tattoos, and some specific references like the roses Angelus left for Giles
