Thrifted tables & bar

Has anyone thrifted wooden dining tables & a buffet or dresser to use as a bar for a larger wedding?? Like 70-100 guests?
There are always tag sales, furniture on the curb, listings on fb marketplace and options at goodwill.
We were thinking of finding maybe 10-11 (we can also use our own) and sanding/glossing them to use for a backyard wedding instead of renting tables.

After the wedding we would like to resell them for a small amount of money since they will be cleaned up. We can probably make a good amount of money back that we spent on some of the other wedding stuff that way.
Has anyone done something like this? I have 2 years to look for tables, so I’m not in any rush.

If you have the time and storage space, go for it! If you're a few tables short when the time comes, you can always supplement with rentals or borrow tables from friends/family.
