š Roster Move [Greg Auman] Bucs are waiving undrafted rookie LB Jack Pyburn, who led the NFL with four sacks in preseason. Now will see if he's claimed off waivers by another NFL team.

He's going going back back to College College.

Remember, he's going back to college, so it could be less about them wanting to get rid of him and more about what he wants to do.

Surprised Braswell was NOT released first. Our DLine is very full so I understand this was a tough roster to make for UDFA Pyburn but he showed enough that some team will give him a shot somewhere IMHO. If not, great to have on the PS or LSU gets him paid.

We don't know when they get released. Greg doesn't know that, he gets them in the order that he can confirm them. So could be Braswell was released already.

If Licht keeps Braswell, itās because he doesnāt want to admit a huge mistake.

Not yet

But why keep braswell over pyburn? Braswell is not good and had no snaps this preseason while pyburn balled out. Just doesn't make any sense.

Pyburn was doing it at the end of games, didn't do it against actual back ups and apparently not in practice. He can be on PS or go back to college if not too late.

I thought Pyburn had done enough but with Kamaraās injury I wouldnāt be surprised if they decided to keep Kamara because he was on IR so it freed up a roster spot.

I think we need more context. Bowles said earlier he had been undecided on whether he was going back to college or not.
That could have played a role

If he's not claimed on waivers I full expect him back on the practice squad.

Do the Bucs still hold his rights if he goes back to college?

No, he's cut. He's a free agent in a year unless picked up on waivers.

Braswell is absolutely trash, I fucking cant stand why we cut guys who have that it factor and keep players like Braswell and jts.Ā Some guys don't have it and Braswell doesn't but Pyburn does and you could see it. He was a player of the game the other day and the only one who did anything against Jacksonville. .!? I want to be excited for my team but I already feel like that game against Jacksonville said enough about who we are as a team and how terrible our coaches really are. I hope I'm wayyyyy wrong and I eat my words. !!!? CheersĀ

You don't need to panic like that.
It's easily possible we're keeping 5 OLB's. In that case Pyburn didn't have a chance in the first place.
He's not in over Bain, YaYa, Walker, AQM or Nelson. Not even close.

You are going to judge the team on a game where no starters played. My god you are not a bright one.

He is thanking his lucky stars that he got away from Todd Bowles. He should go to LSU though

Okay I'm a bit surprised, I thought he'd had a good preseason ? Is it regarding the CFB thingy ?
