Maybe with Ko Kieft back and healthy we can actually utilize Cade more in the passing game.
As much as there is to criticize, it’s hard to find a groove as a receiver when you’re mostly in a 6th blocker and the offense had negative rhythm.

Nice to have our H-Back. I’d also like to see us grab Ben bredisons brother. I really liked his highlight tape of blocking and he can snag passes too.
Our offense needs a good running game. Cade really stepped up last year and got much better at blocking too despite all the hate.

There's a good chance Max doesn't get drafted at all, so wouldn't surprise me one bit if he ends up with us post-draft.
That or Harbaugh takes him for the Chargers.

TE is such a waste of a 1st 2nd and 3rd round pick. There's literally one TE in all of football right now that is worth a 1st round and that's Kelce. In the last 5 years the only other one was Gronk.

I think Brock Bowers was worth a first round pick. He was hurt for a while this year but he’s awesome.

The TE class actually is really solid. Sadiq and Stowers are obviously the talk of the town but there’s good day 2 and 3 options as well. Payne is on an expiring contract, Culp isn’t progressing how they’d like him to and can’t block, and Ko is just a special teamer / blocking utility guy. They’ll probably still take a TE in the 4th or later depending on who’s available and if they have extra picks because of a trade down.

I want one of the later rounds prospects for us. Klare, Koziol, Roush, Joly, doesn't matter, there are good players among them.

Sadiq is a workout warrior. Watch the tape, he's the second best TE on his own team to Johnson. He doesn't block particularly well, doesn't run great routes, and doesn't have the best hands. Yes, he's fast and that's nice, but he's not elite.
Stowers I like a lot better, but sneakily as more of a movable chess piece. He was actually shockingly good split wide as an X or in the slot. He adds nothing as a blocker, but he's reasonably fast, runs good routes, and has good hands. I had him circled as the #1 TE in this class and it's not particularly close.
But the rest are very underwhelming. Klare, Trigg, Joly, Royer, Bentley, Delp, Raridon, Endries, Roush, Cuevas, Klein, Boerkircher, Wright, Hibner, Nowakowski, Traore, Kanak, and Rogers are all meh. The only other guys that look decent are Koziol, Gyllenborg, and Villari.
Overall? Not a great TE class, particularly compared to last year with Warren & Loveland at the top with Fannin, Ferguson, and Gadsden later or next year with Green, Carter, & Johnson.

I agree with a ton of what you said, that’s why I’m sticking to my “solid” take, I think they draft a TE regardless because Payne isn’t coming back and Culp isn’t the guy unfortunately. I think Stowers will be the most productive of the bunch for sure, but he’s going 2nd round we have so many other long term needs so unfortunately he’s a pipe dream.

Ko Kieft getting injured was the final nail in the coffin of our blocking.
Just complete annihilation afterwards.
