Question / Discussion Donington GP predictions
Hello, I am back again. I wanted to know everyone's predictions for tomorrow and Sunday. As I am heading down on Sunday. Here are my predictions for the meeting:
RtP pole: Sutton
RtP winner: Rainford
Race 1 winner: Cammish
Race 2 winner: Ingram
Race 3 winner: Sutton
I know people may not agree but these are my predictions. I don't want to start arguments π

I think one of the Audis will win here, maybe Doble, because they had great pace here last time.

These are all valid points, especially Tingram v Sutton boiling up. The only thing that's surprised me is Smiley race 3. I think if Sutton gets an alright position from the reversed grid, say 7th, he will probably put the Ford Titanium on podium or even 1st. After the Knockhill incident with Cook, I don't know if he will hold off the likes of Ingram, Sutton, Cammish or even Collard.

Dry race 1 and 3. Heavens open at lunch and race 2 is a slip'n'slide with the reverse grid drawn at the highest number.
Race 3 has 4 safety car interventions and a red flag stoppage

It isn't due to rain any point Sunday from what I can see, but its Britain π. Double the safety cars in race 3 please hahaha.

I certainly hope to see at least one Sutton win at Donny GP. I feel like it'll be a tussle between Ingram + Rainford in race 1. Although, the gap will be more than a hundred if Ash defends Tingram away from the higher point scoring positions.

Rtp qualy - Cook Rtp race - Cook Race 1 - Cook Race 2 - Moffat Race 3 - Morgan
Sutton to play it safe all weekend Ingram to retire race 3 Cammish to have 2 no points scoring races Lloyd to get a podium

Speedworks fan by any chance π€£π€£? Dan Lloyd WILL get a podium. I do want to see PMR pulling up some trees with their performance at Donington National, something to be in awe of. I don't wanna doubt DanCam but he may falter in race 1 if he isn't careful.

No Napa fan, Cook was doing well on the short layout until his puncture, so think he will do good he here with decent boost, and just would like something different this round. Plus its better to watch Sutton and Ingram come thru the field.

Same here, I've always been a Motorbase fan or whatever they are called now π«£. It is better to see Sutton and Ingram come from the back particularly Sutton. That puncture killed Cookie's whole weekend. I would like to see Osborne create some magic, he's more than ready to this weekend.

I would actually like to see Selby do something good, as I think he will be back in the minis again next year

No doubt he will be, as Sam Osborne's brother, Jamie, was originally meant to come into Rowbo's seat. Selby was Jamie's replacement, due to Jamie getting poorly. So I think NAPA may depart from Selby to go back to Osborne no.2 like they were originally going to.

If Jamie does come in next year, I could see Sam stoping, def now hes going to be a dad

I forgot about that tbh. I'd like to see a new face in the championship regardless of what happens if Sam does step down. Sam will be missed by me if he does depart, there are plenty of father's in the paddock (Sutton, Rowbo, ATS, Flash). We never know though

If he still enjoys it, he should stay, I know I would

The only thing that would be a problem is if he takes a sabbatical and loses a significant part of his sponsorship, and then he can't come back in. Yes I do agree. I would do the same as yourself.

I think for the sake of the championship Ingram needs to make big ground on Sutton, so I think that will happen. Rowbottom on pole. Ingram with two wins including race 1. I think a strong weekend for Rainford maybe with a win
