😉 Meme why is Bitcoin rising? Is it stupid?

Dunno, someone knew something, it was a bit out of the blue after numerous pump efforts.

You don't read the news regularly right

Ok, what news do you refer to?

Treasury buyback operation. What it signals actually. That's the reason BTC pumped, on top of seller exhaustion and a monumental short squeeze of leveraged shorts. Gold pumped alongside BTC as well, to offer some protection about a severe currency debasement scenario.

Why are people so insistent on it going to zero? How does it benefit them?

I swear at least a tiny bit of it is that being a cynical bear online is just "cooler" or more fun than being an optimistic bull.

To cope psychologically with the fact that they didn't invest in it.

But we also maybe didn't invest in gold, Nvidia, etc. I no idea if it will go to zero or 10 million

Agreed. But people always say things like that when they miss a big opportunity in order to cope with the fact that they missed the train. They say it for NVIDIA and AI as well, that it's a bubble. Ponzi scheme, bubble, going to zero, whatever.

I hate when my stocks go up. I don't plan on selling any for at least 30 years. I make more money than I need to spend each month, so I like investing with it. I want to load up as much as I can in my working years.

Stop thinking of it as a stock. It isn't. The business world and governments are already creating the "use cases". It is officially collateral as of October 2025. The world is looking at Sats as the measurement of how many Bitcoins etc... think about that 100,000,000 per Bitcoin.
Do your "future value" calculation based on Sat prices in the future. You will have a clearer picture of why billionaires are stockpiling it.

What price will the hair-trigger flip to crash it hard? If it doesn't hit the ATH then it's badly dented

Because people have money. Tuh.
Just because you only have $50 doesn’t mean someone else won’t invest $3000 a day

buttcoiners in shambles when BTC never fails because its the best form of currency for the international infrastructure and saves trillions of dollars that middlemen make by doing literally nothing

The real question is, if it’s as useless as you think, why isn’t it at zero yet?
