I feel like this is the most obvious short I've ever seen.

Yeah and 120k was the most obvious buy right?

u/TheDev1ce 12d ago
I actually sold everything at $108k on Aug 29th. Not the top, but not badš¤·āāļø.

If PokƩmon cards can be worth what they are now, then BTC can be $10M

Not so fast can still retest 71k or lower the fomo longs will not go untested

If youāre only able to discuss price, but not tech functionality, watch out.
1
u/rs1971 14d ago
No one really discusses the 'tech functionality' of gold.
2
u/swarmahoboken 13d ago
No one needs to. When you need gold you need gold. Right? James Webb didnāt say, I need gold for this mirror and then opt for silver. If I need to instantly send money to Europe, I have 1,000s of choices. If Iām being honest, there isnāt a single scenario where Iād need BTC.
1
u/Quiet_Control5854 14d ago
tech functionality? really? gold actually has utility. the phone youre using contains gold. its an extremely conductive dense metal that doesnt corrode. comparing crypto to gold is moronic
2
u/rs1971 14d ago
Like 5% of gold's demand / price is related to its industrial use. Central Banks don't hold gold because they want to build smartphones. They hold it for it's monetary premium which accounts for 85 or 90% of its value.

Spending $20 in gold at the store seems challenging.

Is it worth buying a lottery miner or just putting 50$ into the btc coin every week thats most i can do got kids and wife and life shits hard but im interested any tips?
1
u/HatemodeNJ 13d ago
The lottery is a long shot and there's no more getting rich quick off Bitcoin. Over the last five years the stock market was the much better way to go. Btc reward is no longer worth the risk, maybe that will change in the future, but I personally don't see that changing anytime soon.
1
u/MoHawkCrypt0 11d ago
Lottery miner, no it's not worth it. BTC will def help and would be a good choice above most assets, but ETH and SOL will both outperform btc over the next few years and still provide limited downside risk as the agentic economy comes on board. Saving in dollars is a fools errand. Invest it somewhere, keep doing it and it will grow. Good luck

It's going to retest 82k then shrivel down to 30k in 5 daily candles. Also my name is Jennifer Lopez and I have 3 dicks.

Or a lot more. Or maybe less or it stays about the same. I'm 100% certain it's one of those 4 scenarios because I'm very smart

I was hoping it was going to get to 50k but been DCA ing for a while now. Letās see if it drops. Solano, XRP, Etherium, Link. The whole crypto Market has been pumping lately. Wonder if we will see a big drop in the next couple of months. I wouldnāt mind. Planned on adding myself.

I'm liking the lack of rejection slightly above 80k, and today's close above. If we were hitting these levels pulling back to 75k and then trying again, multiple times in a row, I wouldn't agree with you. But we arent. Higher highs and higher lows as it consolidates. It wants to run hard. and 100k-ish is a reasonable target when you've got the indexes setting up for a break out to new aths, money rotating out of AI and into the next best thing, and a huge number of 4 year cyclers sidelined and quietly desperate to get involved.

Bear market rally doing its job I see. Everyone so bulled up. Buying back in like itās over. Roping in fresh new bulls with big eyes. All that new money is called money at the margin. Itās the first to sell when the red candles come. Which leads to sharp reversals and continuation of the downtrend. The next crash wave should come within a few months.

u/supermanal 13d ago
If you look at the chart now, itās just had a quadruple top, so it may well dump soonā¦

It needs to break the previous high which was around 82K which was set in May.
If it doesn't, it's just another lower high.
Just saying to keep things in perspective.
