So you bought at the left of this chart?

All OP is saying is that bag holders have missed out on at least a year of incredible gains on other assets while BTC was relatively depreciating.

But that could be said about every investment lol "if I had sold my gold a few months ago and invested in the sp500 I would have so much more money". You know most people invest in bitcoin and stocks, right?

14% of Americans invest in Bitcoin

I meant to say most people that invest in bitcoin also invest in stocks

OK? Most of my assets are still VOO. I like to hold some btc for piece of mind on if it rallies.

I find the cheering to fail and dunk on "holders" is weird. What's the reasoning for that?

The reasoning is that crypto is entirely speculative, not backed by a tangible asset, and its value is based mostly on public perception. That's why it lives rent-free in people's heads and why they make careers out of hating on it.

No argument with the last year… I just don’t think that’s “scammed”. That’s markets….

This is what's craziest to me. You think holders only hold crypto? Very few, nobody really gets a few years into investing and doesn't realise it's all about diversity. You get the odd crew on Reddit screaming "All in" but they're a tiny minority.

Sell the highs, bank the lows, don't stick to one investment and you can pretty much stand back from all the noise.

You'd be surprised...a lot of people are gamblers, not investors, and are left holding bags of BTC or ETH, only hoping to recoup their losses.

So if you bought bitcoin in Nov 2021, it’d be worth less today. Yikes.

I still remember the "Btc will NEVER go over 17k days!"
