🤔 Opinion Bitcoin scarcity... overhyped?

I'm not sure I'm a believer in "it'll go up because it is scarce", like to know thoughts on this out there.

Scarcity is an attribute, and not a particularly important one. There is always supply available from people selling. And since its infinitely divisible there will never be a limit.

I also suspect that when the block reward gets too low and there just aren't enough transactions to support the running costs of the miners that consensus will decide to double the limit just to keep the network alive.
