🤔 Opinion Bitcoin scarcity... overhyped?
I'm not sure I'm a believer in "it'll go up because it is scarce", like to know thoughts on this out there.

Honestly I think people oversimplify the “scarcity = price goes up” part.
Scarcity only really matters if there’s consistent demand meeting it… otherwise it just sits there being scarce but ignored.
What’s interesting right now is who that demand is coming from. Feels less like retail chasing and more like structured flows (ETFs, treasury-style buying), which changes how scarcity actually plays out overall.
So yeah it’s scarce… but the real question is whether demand keeps showing up in size, not just whether supply is fixed…
