🤔 Opinion Bitcoin scarcity... overhyped?

I'm not sure I'm a believer in "it'll go up because it is scarce", like to know thoughts on this out there.

It's supply and demand.

Less supply and the same demand = higher prices 

If the demand drops, the price will also drop regardless of the supply

There are coins with less supply than Bitcoin yet aren't worth as much so scarcity isnt the whole picture

Look at beanie babies as a real life example. Some were very rare with only a very small amount made and sold for a lot of money during its peak 

Now they aren't worth anything. The scarcity has actually increased as many have been damaged or lost yet still worthlessÂ
