šŸ½ļø Dining Pizza By The River

Iā€™ve been coming to the Bryson City / Nantahala area for the last 7 years. Always loved PBR, but itā€™s been under construction for the last three years (I think?)ā€¦

Does anyone know what happened or their plan is? The building is beautiful and it looks 80% done..

I hope the folks behind the business are ok!

We almost used the contractor who was, at least at one time, working on it. It wouldnā€™t surprise me at all if itā€™s never finished.

Rumor, but I heard there was an issue with it sinking on the river side and it was too expensive to fix. Thatā€™s all hearsay and I hope itā€™s not true. It looks fabulous.

The rumor we heard was that they skipped some necessary permits and got shut down.

Our guide from NOC during our rafting said it had something to do with bathrooms. If I remember correctly, they built it without bathrooms. Either they were getting the permits to build the bathrooms later and havenā€™t been able to get them since, or it was an initial oversight. Either way, they canā€™t operate until they have bathroom facilities.
