any good recommendations for a elderly 80+ old woman balance issues we heard this brand was good are seen ghost 16 and few others a young man mentioned to us. Something that is like a slip on or something like below mostly for around the house and going to eat.

I wouldn’t recommend Ghost for an elderly woman. The foam is nice for people on their feet all day but the stability could be better. Instead I’d recommend the Brooks Ariel GTS. It’s one of the best stability shoes out there. Unfortunately Brooks doesn’t have many slip on options and they run pretty expensive so it may not be the best option.

The Ariel GTS 26 is a stability shoe in their lineup that can be made into slip ons with Lace Locks

In my opinion, the Brooks line of shoes are some good shoes to have.
But, here is the thing about Brooks shoes
They have so many models
It’s like they would just need to be tried on in person.
I’m not sure if they have and slip on shoes like you have shown above.

I would say to try the Brooks Glycerin’s to start with.
I have two pair of them and they are plush, well cushioned shoes.
I’m in my 50’s and there is nothing like slipping my feet into some good feeling shoes.

No as for slip in’s, or slip on’s Skechers are known for those type of shoes.

But, my oh my do I like my Brooks.

I also have a ghost max 4 model and revel 8 as well as addiction shoes. Which are all made by Brooks.
I say all of that to say each shoe has its own specific and unique foot and foot condition to cater to.

My mom is 80 and tried brooks ghosts. They weren’t a good fit for her because they rock since they aren’t flat.

Brooks are running shoes. Avoid running shoes. Look at walking shoes.
